"It's in Anna's hands now," Astrid said matter-of-factly as she found a set of towels that apparently was conveniently left in the room. She continued to talk as she readied herself. "Whether she gives you money... that's all up to her. And considering what you just said, you may as well show your bracelet. Now that she knows you're close, if Anna doesn't want you to win, either you specifically or because she doesn't intend on letting anyone reach $1 million this round, she'll give you nothing, regardless of whether you show your bracelet. And if she's fine giving you enough to win, then you may as well let her know the exact amount, to maximize the amount left for the rest of us."

Astrid stood before the pod. It seems giving her something else to talk about--the logical dissection of Luka's options--had relaxed her a bit. "See you all on the other side," she said lightly before making the plunge.

Ignoring Maximillion entirely, Jason addressed Pink. "One of the passcode hints said there was a second Werewolf room. In the Emerald room we saw security footage of a Hazel inside a Werewolf room: presumably this was the 'second Hazel'. This would also explain the voice we heard coming from that piece of Blinking Slate, though, 'explain' might be putting it lightly as I'm only more lost than ever now. And she's calling you Iris... I don't know what to make of that.

"Either way, should we pull the lever now? I don't think it's a good idea to leave Astrid in there too long."

Hazel thinks for a moment, looking thoughtful. "I'm not sure how to explain how I was able to control both bodies. I figured that the Morphogenetic Field is involved in this. But I don't know much other than knowing that the Morphogenetic Field is involved." She shrugs her shoulders.

Hazel then looked like she actually remembered something. "Oh, that actually reminds me, since I'm talking to you, Stella..." Hazel start explaining. "Your Cousteau isn't the only symphonic warbler here. In the room I was in with Iris, there was another symphonic warbler. What's strange is that this symphonic warbler looks just like Cousteau. And its song is unmistakably the same as Cousteau's song."

Maximillion held his towel tightly but wagged a finger at Jason. "It's something you should consider but scepticism is healthy as well. Someone who kinda looks like Iris, and since Zero wiped her memories and put Iris' name in our heads like this, she thinks she's Iris now. That's it. That's probably it."

She seemed downright relieved she found an explanation for this.
