The next day…
“Gee, it sure is boring around here!” Ryleigh said while stretching her arms. She and a few others were hanging out in the hotel lobby.
“Yeah, I know what you mean,” Ramon said. “Nothing’s happening right now. Perhaps it’s time to make our own fun!”
Suddenly, Cups walked into the lobby.
“Everyone, shut the fuck up. Shut up, just shut up,” he said.
“Cups? What’s gotten into you?” Roxie asked.
“Yes, what seems to be the problem?” Myrion wondered aloud.
Cups punched a hole in the wall next to the South Elevator. “I said shut the fuck up. Shut up! Gather all of your fellow contestants up and meet back here. Ace would like to show you something.”
“Right now? Alright,” grumbled Devin. The few people in the lobby dispersed and went to go gather up their fellow players. Eventually, they all returned and gathered in front of the South Elevator where Cups was waiting for them. The group of thirteen crammed into the elevator and rode down to wherever Cups was taking them.
The group reassembled near the elevator, which Ace reminded them would be locked once he went up. He bid them farewell and left, but not before reminding them that, even though they couldn’t earn money through Normal Games for now, there was still another Major Game to come…
