"Whoa, take a chill pill, Mickey!" Vincent protests as he held his hands up in defense. "You wanted to know if I have the will? Very well, I can safety say that I did not have the will." With that being said, he pulls inside out his pockets to show that there were nothing inside his pockets.

"While we're on the topic of the will, I'm surprised that nobody even bothered to go search for it." Vincent said calmly. "I'm willing to believe that James have the will because... think back to when we found Auntie Gloria dead in her study. James was the one who asked about the will, wasn't he? Does anyone know why James was so interested in the will that he had to ask about it?"

"I don't have anything to hide." Allister said, emptying his pockets. Besides the candy, he had the handkerchief from the other day, but not much else. "If you still don't believe me, then you may search me, if you desire."

Zachary glanced at his satchel upon Mickey's insistence that everyone empty their pockets in the next minute.

"I-I'm clean, trust me! But if you want to see what I have . . . " Zachary had started to protest, but more out of laziness than anything. Even he knew that disobeying someone like Mickey could lead to serious trouble, so he obliged, dumping the contents of his satchel and his pockets onto a nearby table, being careful to ease up for the fragile stuff.

Bits of wire, wire cutters, electrical tape, a wire tester, and other various bits and bobs made up some of the smaller items. There were also several handkerchiefs: three in different solid colors, one with polka dots, one with a floral pattern, and one with various animals on it. A couple DIY gadgets came out as well (but nothing that would break the game, for obvious reasons,) and a couple works-in-progress, barely held together with some of that tape I mentioned earlier. One of the more notable items (no pun intended) was some sheet music for the song Fly Me to the Moon with some numbers written in the margins. Perhaps the exact frequencies for each note? There were also various schematics, some with ample annotations on them, others completely scribbled out, and a couple more which were only partially-finished.
Thank you for reading. I hope you have a wonderful day.

"If you feel the need to search me, then feel free to do so." Archer steps forward, though is expression is as neutral as ever. "I do not have anything to hide from the Moonview Family."

"It is... somewhat upsetting to hear that I am under such suspicion, Master Bertram. But I understand the circumstances... And it seems like some people are not too keen on sharing any information at all."

Archer turns to face Allister, who was busy being abused by Mickey. "Allister. Would you mind sharing just what it is you did last night? I would like to hear the same from everyone else. I highly doubt so many of us are truly this... erm.. Passive?" He questions the younger servant while looking at the other members of the family. "We know Master Bertram does not act. And we believe that Madame Wyn went to investigate Sir Maurice. Sir Zachary has also said what he was up to. I have confessed on where I was as well. I would like to hear what everyone was doing, because if you're not a witch, or some deranged serial killer, there should not be much to hide."

Not wanting to be lynched James gave in, "Ok I give up you got me, I took it. I'll go get for you then but are you sure you really want that?"

James went back to his room and returned with the will. "Here it is, I'll read it for you," he then began to read, "My dear children and family. I love you all very much. I want you all to know that I love each of you so so dearly and that each of you is completely irreplaceable.

It is with a heavy heart that I make this decision, but as you all know our family is cursed by witches and so my wealth ultimately kinda belongs to them. In an attempt to protect all of you from the curse of the money, I am going to have to make some very tough decisions.

First of all, to protect my children, all of you who got to live here on the island are being cut off from the fortune. That means Bertram, Basil, Maurice, Twilip, Zachary will be getting nothing. Additionally, my dear grandchildren must also be protected from all of this. I love you all very much.

To the most pure of heart among you, Robin, I leave one third of the total fortune of 1.3 Billion dollars. I trust you will know what to do with it.

To the most adventurous among you, Vincent, I give you another third of the total fortune, so that you can follow your glorious dreams. I am sorry about what happened.

To the most ____ (to be filled in once I meet him but that doesn't invalidate this document) among you, Billy, I give you the last third of my fortune. It will be so nice to meet you, I'm sure.

Thank you everyone! I will watch on from the Golden Land! Don't lose touch!

As you can see this will has nothing to with the murders."

James then laughed and tossed the will over to Bertram, "Enjoy!"

"... We've been disinherited?" Lucine cleverly deduced. "No more money? I'm not gonna be family head anymore?!"

She actually seemed pretty happy about it. Good for her.

As James read out the will, Vincent was silent and very pale as every word was being read out.

"So, if that's what the will is all about... Then..." Vincent paled even more at the implications of what that could mean. "Shit! We're trapped on this forsaken island! This was something that Auntie Gloria dreaded seeing happen... God, I'm scared for my life." There was the look of fear in his eyes.

The musician, clearly scared, takes out his wallet and then removes the family photo from it. He stares intensely at it. "Lucy... Carrie... Kim... Drew... I pray that the witches doesn't go after my family... They should be after me because of what was mentioned in the will!"

"WHAT?" Bertram yelled, the news actually shocking enough to distract him from all the horrible murders. "I was going to use my share to expand overseas! I had such grand plans... Mother, just what were you thinking? I can't fulfil my duty as eldest like this. Was the curse of the witches really that dire?"

He hung his head in his hands, before remembering the situation. "Oh... Oh, yes, I suppose mother really was right to worry about that... Was she killed before she could end the curse? That's too cruel!"

‘Mickey’ laughed joyously. It was a deep, breathy, belly laugh that was way too loud and went on way too long. Tears of joy poured down on his face and he made sure to extend a middle finger to Bertram throughout all of this.

“To experience joy like this is one of the wonders of being alive. Bet you’re really missing my 3 large.” He laughed again, wiping his eyes. “Or maybe not. One billion? What I got was a goddamn pittance compared to that. But no hard feelings.” He finished that remark with a cheeky smile.

Vincent narrows his eyes at James. "Come again? You're saying that I should renounce my share of the Moonview family fortune? Unbelievable!" He then points an finger at the blonde man. "You got your share of the Moonview family fortune, so wouldn't that means the witches will be after your fucking life?! You should be scared for you own life, like I am scared for my own life!"

Bertram shook his head, clearly agitated. "You don't understand. Of course, you never did. I was the heir to mother's Moonview name. It was to be my privilege and also duty to achieve great things in the name of our family. It was the only way I could truly pay mother back for all she did for me. Now, though... This 'curse' has brought ruin to us all. What does all the work I put in for my company mean now? How can I even proceed from here?

"These witches will pay for all they have wrought! No matter the consequences. Even if I need die, I will bring them down! You hear me? I will bring you DOWN!" He yelled the last part up the heavens. The others had never seen him look so deranged before.

Instead of responding to Bertram, ‘Mickey’ walked over to his sister and knelt down to meet her eye to eye. “See that, Luce.” He pointed at their father. “That’s where a life of ego, pressure, and greed gets you. Misery.” He frowned at that, as if remembering the life he used to have. “I know this is all you know, it’s not your fault. But there’s so much more to it. If we get out of this together, you can come with me. I’ll show you.”

It was unclear if this were a genuine offer or another attempt to get under his father’s skin.

Vincent thinks back to the will and then he realized that he apparently misheard. He knew that he need to apologize.

"Ah, I'm sorry, I thought... I thought that James would be getting his share of the fortune. Sorry for lashing out at you, James." Vincent said. "I guess the idea of the witches being after my life scared me to the point where I couldn't think straight."

"Oh Lord, I knew the Moonviews were well-off, but I had no idea their matriarch was stashing this much money..." Wyn mumbles. "And I must say, I'm slightly perplexed at the distribution of the inheritance... I never lived on the island, and yet I am also cut out.. I guess I know what Lady Moonview thought of me."

Lucine, for her part, did look quite scared of her father. But apparently her shock was the only reason Mickey even got so close, since she pushed him away as soon as she got her bearings. "... Is that why you left and let me inherit that life, then? You knew how it was, and you left me behind with it anyways? Or did you not know, and so you didn't even think about me?"

"... I get it now. This is why you two can't stand each other. You and father are exactly the same sort of person, one is just more responsible than the other."

"M-Mama . . . I-I don't understand . . . " Zachary uttered weakly as he absentmindedly returned his things to his satchel.

"You wanted to protect your children and grandchildren from the curse . . . a-and-and decided to paint a giant target on my wife's head instead!?" Zachary raised his voice as the realization dawned on him. He punctuated the question by slamming his fist on the table, jostling a few of the remaining items on it.

"I-I thought you cared for Robin, Mama. I didn't know all you wanted were people to drop the load onto this whole time. They wanted the money back, so why didn't you give it back to them?"

For Zachary, it was never about the money. It wouldn't surprise him if the witches knew who Gloria would be giving the money to and so targeted them first. That didn't explain why Vincent yet lived, but Zachary wasn't thinking about that right now.

"I never asked for this. This thoughtless action took my wife away from me, and I'm now ashamed to be considered part of this family. I . . . I want those witches to pay, and then . . . I just want to be with Robin again. I . . . have . . . nothing . . . left . . . "

"Zach's fine he was officially excluded so he won't be receiving anything. He wouldn't have received the money even if he wasn't because Robin died before she could receive her share. In fact, Robin and Billy's share will be going to Vincent so he's going to inherit the entire fortune which I believe only makes him more suspicious."

"What?" Vincent said when people said that he looks suspicious because of how he's the only last surviving inheritor. "Of course, I'm looking very suspicious because of how both cousin Billy and Robin were killed by the witches..."

"But, there's a problem with this logic! How do the witches know who the 3 inheritors are? There's two possibilities that we're looking at." Vincent explains as he count out the possibilities with his finger. "First option: The witches got really lucky with their victims. Second option: The witches knew who the inheritors were from reading the will. Both options will still have the same outcome: that I'm being set up to be a scapegoat."

"If something happened to me tonight and you find me dead tomorrow... It would still leave you folks with the main problem... The witches want every single cent of the Moonview family fortune back. They don't care if all 3 inheritors are dead... They just want the entire fortune back..." Vincent explains as he cross his arms. "I mean... we're trying to find the witches, right?"

"The will does not paint Sir Vincent in a good light." Archer lets out a sigh. "But I do not want this to cloud our judgement. For now, I'll vote for Vincent, but I still would like to know what everyone was up to previously."

"Sir James. Sir Vincent. Madame Twilip. Sir Maurice. Milady Lucine. Sir Mickey. I believe neither of you have been particularly open in sharing what you've done recently, which makes me suspicious of all of you. I am voting for Vincent as on top of this, there is the will Milady Gloria left behind..."

"In the possibility that you mentioned, Sir Vincent, where the witches either got lucky or knew ahead of time to set you up... Then you are not a witch. However, as long as the chance exists where you are one, and on top of that, you have little to contribute to our endeavor, then I am comfortable with my vote."

James seemed to be confused, "I don't understand how option 2 makes you a scapegoat. If the witches knew the contents of the will then I believe you would be the prime suspect. If the witches had read the will and one of them was in the will, wouldn't they be able to accomplish their goal by killing the other inheritors and having one of their own inherit the whole fortune which gives them their stolen money back. So for that reason I'm voting for Vincent.

"This reasoning seems solid to me. I will be voting for Vincent as well." Lucine said. "Though, I do wonder why he would continue with these killings after disposing of the two other inheritors..."

"Alright, alright." Vincent sighed. "Seems like you guys won't believe every damn word I said..."

"Look, like I said, I was in my room cleaning up so I'd look nice for dinner. In addition to that, I was coming up with ideas for the lyrics to a song that I was working on. This song would be dedicated to my lovingly family. I usually write down the song lyrics in a notebook. And then when it was time to go eat dinner, I left and room and met up with the others."

He shakes his head. '"I know it's not a strong defense that I have... But since you guys are going to pile are your votes onto me.... So be it. You played right into the witches' hands, which is exactly what they were expecting."

He turns to Mickey. "Yo, Mickey? I got a request for you... If you ever managed to survive this bloodbath, I want you to tell my family that I love them very much and I wanted them to find their happiness without me. Can you do that for me?"

“That’s sweet, bruh. Sure I’ll tell your fam, I’m nothing more than a wanderer after all. I’m voting for you so it don’t change shit though.”

He blatantly ignores Archer’s request for his actions, eyeing him dismissively as he asked.

"Maybe it's a trap, but I believe it's the best lead we have." Allister said to Vincent. "I'm sorry, but I'll be voting for you as well."

[THEME MUSIC]

Vincent is not difficult to restrain in the end. His lanky arms are pulled behind his back by Archer quickly. The four remaining Moonview siblings in the room watch tensely as Vincent stops trying to struggle.

Archer calls Allister to get some restraints for Vincent, and the two servants work side by side to tie him up. Bertram asks the servants to take Vincent out to the lawn, as not to get blood in the house. The two carry Vincent to the side door where the sound of the rain right outside it is deafening. Bertram leaves to retrieve his revolver.

The group stands in silence for a few seconds. The reality of the execution is setting in. Is this man really Vincent Moonview from that time so long ago? Could they really kill their cousin like this? All of them, even the children, come to the conclusion that, whether or not they accept it, they have no choice.

"Well, I guess this is it. If I ever see Auntie Gloria..." Vincent says, feeling devastated that the entire Moonview have turned against him over the will, "I swear she better have some explaining to do.... See you all in the Golden Land when your time's up."

Bertram returns, Allister and Archer take Vincent out into the dark, pouring rain. Bertram solemnly walks into the doorway, and when Allister and Archer make it back, fires two shots.

It's done, dark red blood washes from Vincent's unmoving face.

As the group walks back into the dining room, they see Vincent's guitar laying in the kitchen, a solemn reminder of the man dead outside.

The remainder of the Moonview family takes some time to decompress and plan their next actions.

James lit a cigar and began to smoke it then he spoke with the most smug expression he could muster, "Well, I guess I'll be inheriting the entire fortune then. If you're wondering why it's because whilst I wasn't mentioned in the will, I wasn't excluded either and since all the inheritors died before they could receive their inheritance the money will go to the Gloria's closest living non-excluded relative which would be me. Well, all this murder has made me quite tired so good night all of you I bid you adieu." Before anyone could react James left the dining room and walked back to his room.
