Zhang smiled genuinely "Ah I love the little variations in fables, reminds me of childhood. Still in both versions, the key factor on Snake is that it gains its position through it's craftiness and cleverness rather than actually running the race." she nodded eagerly at Sun Taikong's explanation. "For that reason I don't think it's any proof that Mei is the one holding the bracelet but just a suggestion that Snake might be participating in their own way, though I dislike the thought of that being via deception."

“I’d rather check out the Monkey room while we’re here,” Amethyst replies, “Maybe there’s something in there that I’m meant to interact with.”
“We can split into groups then,” Monk says, “Shouldn’t be a problem...I was planning to plug the flash drive we got into that terminal in the dungeon anyway.”
“We can catch up with Juanli too, since she apparently already left the room…” Suyin says.
“Sounds like you all have a lot to do, then!” Sunny shouts, “Splitting up would probably be a good idea!”
Each member of the group decides where they want to go on their own, then they divide off from each other.
Monkey Room: Amethyst, Amandi, X, Taikong
To Dungeon: Monk, Juanli, Suyin, Mao, Fujisaki, Mei

Amethyst holds up the bloodstained key, gives it an infuriated glare, and then shoves it into the keyhole by the door marked [猴]. Once she turns it, the black Afterlife Gate fades to a light red. The group steps through, wincing as their CDP decreases to [3].
“Whoa…” Amethyst mumbles.
The room is filled to the brim with blinking computers and slick monitors, piled atop desks covered in papers. Some of them have been knocked to the ground or shattered, but plenty more are still intact and operational. Perhaps this is where Cat’s programming is stored?
“Hmph…too bad we just sent Monk away with his flash drive,” Amandi grumbles.
As the group steps inside, one of the monitors powers on. The browser reveals only one file, labelled “wood.txt”.

As the second group steps through the Meridian Gate, they carefully check their bracelets. Some of them notice their points drop down to [3], but the group who visited the Washroom earlier remains at [4].
From there, they split off from each other and start wandering around the throne room. Monk, Mei, and Fujisaki immediately head to the throne and put in their coins. The time limit on Sunny’s bomb jumps up to six hours. Meanwhile, Mao examines the strange metal door while waiting for the others to finish. Suyin walks into the dungeon and sees Juanli entering the Washroom.

Meanwhile, Amethyst checks some of the other computers. Most seem irrelevant or require extra credentials, though one appears to contains Yang’s programming. However, trying to access it brings up an “Authentication Required” screen. It looks like only Kwon Wonseog can open this...

Mao seemed pleased with himself for remembering. "An army of the undead... no. More accurately, an army of the unliving. We were criticized for even considering it--they called it blasphemous. But we had no choice with the Americans choosing to pursue the technology."
It was unclear why Mao chose now of all times to speak up. With all the talk of specters and goblins, he grew wearier and wearier. The world that he knew was long behind him, and with age even his mental faculties could betray him. And now Kwon, the boy he had admired, seemed to be at the center of all this. "Homunculi, military AI... just what are you up to Kwon?"

“I guess we’ll have to figure that out,” Amandi mumbles.
Soon enough, Taikong returns from the vent…but with Sunny in tow. Apparently the vent could be opened from the inside. There’s much celebration, with Sunny and Juanli having a tearful reunion.
However, everyone knows it can’t last. The group had all gathered up again, so that everyone could hear the rules of the next twisted game. Soon, Sunny would have to go back into the Dragon room. But for now, everyone was all together.
[The Battle will begin sometime tomorrow. I wouldn’t expect it to last long, as the actual decision that gets made is more important than its contents.]

As she reconnects with the others she barrels through the explanation with her own take, "We should play the Wood game. It's the best lead we have. I already explained that the traitor is in an extremely challenging position because many things can go wrong for the traitor including the death of everyone. The faster we decide and get people moving the less they can plan to betray us. Trying will clarify the nature of Snake's role in the game regardless. Time is limited by whoever first chooses to kill or betray us."
