-I have a student who's failing... whatever I teach, so I told him I'd help him after his lacrosse practice.
-He came at 5:15, and he left at 5:45. I stayed around some more time to finish grading some tests when I heard a bloodcurdling scream!
-I jumped up and ran to the room the scream came from. The sight was horrible!

Think about it! One scream happens, you assume it's just melodrama. Two screams, and you start to wonder just what's going on, and if it is high school melodrama, you just want it to be quiet.
