So that means you already know the standard procedure. On the second part use gel to drive two of the same colors away from eachother (they go crazy at the presence of gel), and when there is a match encircle it with gel and extract it. Laser the big tumors off, but leave around 4 smaller ones since they don't do too much harm (instead waste your time).

Ah, okay, thanks. I'll have to do the gel thing. And leaving the smaller tumors. I think that is what my problem was. Thanks~

-hopes she can do it-

Leaving smaller tumors is no good. First drive the same colour dust balls away from each other and then raise vitals, laser smaller tumors or wait to Deftera to start the circle thing.

For me, the hardest is and always will be Triti. I passed it by luck the first two times in both versions of the game >.>;

I know I will never beat X3 in either version with or without HT :(

Trauma Center sure has come a long way, and will go down in gaming history along with other smash hits. The idea of a medical surgery video game was a very good idea. Before Trauma Center was born, most people would have thought that such a game would have been impossible to make, but thanks to Kazuya Niinou and everyone else at Atlus, it was finally made. Anyway, I prefer Second Opinion more than Under The Knife. I'm sure most other Trauma Center fans do. Although the gameplay is not as realistic as in Under The Knife (you sit back and point the Wiimote at the TV screen instead you bending over and using a stylus), the game fills in a few gaps in the story (eg. new Z operations with Dr. Naomi Kimishima/Nozomi Weaver, brand new chapter, "Dark Gospel") which makes it more interesting. If they didn't leave out "Original Sin" (Original Final Chapter), it would have spoilt the game.

Okay I beat the second guilt, but I'm stuck on the bomb now. The whole concept of a surgeon disarming a bomb seems kind of goofy, but it's harder than any surgery so far. I pulled out two of those stick things, and something goes wrong, the place explodes and I don't even know what happened. So I guess I'm about stuck up to the part after the water.

Triti is possibly the easiest GUILT to get rid of. If you use Healing Touch, that is.
One Healing Touch gives you enough time to take out all the thorns, excise them, and extract them all. :redd:

SO friggin cheap, but it's a really neat starter.

Some of the visual guides found on plenty of walkthroughs are mediocre. I've found some that don't even mention the increased regen rate with every piece extracted.

That was a fun operation.

Ultrasonic a blinking-grey spot, pinch them with forceps, cut a dot where you pinched, vacuum the thrombi out and spray it with gel. Repeat.

When you get good at this operation you can work on three at a time. From ultrasonic'ing to pinching each step gives you 4-5 seconds before the thrombi moves again.

Well, it's been a long time since I replied so I thought I post my progress I am now up to the New Laser Technology mission in the game. I have yet to get the puzzle to look exactly like the one in the diagram there is always one piece that I can't fit in with the others someday I'll get it.

I went back and challenge the operations I already did and got a couple of more A ranks and even an S!

Some one should change the title of this topic to reflect the next game coming out in the Trauma Center series New Blood. I am sad that they didn't port it over to the DS as well but maybe they might do that in the future who knows?

For those ones I like picking a color (purple for me) and filling up the syringe before the squid things show their colors. That way I can inject the purple one as soon as possible and I only have to remember which colors the other two are. It's better not to "miss" and cause more tumors to appear. Too much hassle. If the two remaining get mixed up to me I'd rather wait until the next turn. If they get fast near the end you can always use healing touch to help you out.

I love Trauma Center. <3 I remember when I couldn't get past the first Triti (still the guilt I hate the most), but eventually I beat all the way up to X7. I have no idea how I managed that... :stiles:

If I ever get a Wii I want to get SO and NB. ;-;

Whoa, co-op play in New Blood. That sound freaking awesome.

I've only played Second Opinion and I loved it, although personally I think it might have played better on the DS. It's just kind of awkward trying to sew someone up using a Wiimote (and for some reason my Wii Healing Touches always suck).

As for my least favorite Guilt, I actually don't mind Triti that much. It's those blue and red tumor things (the name escapes me at the moment) that spin around until they meet that annoy me.

Heh first post

Well regarding any guilt missions I suggest you guys look at this guys videos (if you haven't seen them already)

http://www.geocities.jp/bugloderunner/j ... oke_e.html :stiles:

This guy is the probably the best TC player I've seen. He has videos of of practically every guilt. These are old videos so it's done on DS, however I've noticed that some of his techniques can work with SO as well (well obviously not the dual wielding part =p). Hope this helps.

After figuring out Triti's pattern's it becomes easy, so I guess just keep figuring out how it works. The guys Triti videos really help once you see it a couple of times. :stiles:

Well, I broke my rule of not using Healing Touch in story mode I used in the mutant Triti I got it down to five slates in a row and no matter how many I remove the spikes either turns to poison mist or they start reappearing before I can cut them! :grey:
Not to mention that you can't isolate and remove them like in forbidden knowledge they regrow like crazy.

Needless to say I got around to beating it without the healing touch in challenge mode but my rank is still a C. :sadshoe:

I beat under the knife without using HT though it took me many times to do it and now in order to get S Rank I have to not miss when I'm operating and I usually do when I'm pinching a huge gash together. I had 59 seconds on the clock when I beat it the first time and 1:06 the second time around.

Now I'm stuck at the one where you have to cut the fiberous worms out I swear that under the knife is boot camp for learning how to suture like crazy. It's another challenge to surpass.

Which triti mission? Maybe I can give some tips, I'll take a break from accounting homework lol.

Well this is what I do, it seems to work for both DS and Wii Versions. This is without HT for all you S rank people out there =p

Forgive me if it doesn't make sense lol. :stiles:

Ok from the beginning of the mission, usually I figure out where I want to "trap the Triti". Usually the place for me is the bottom left corner. At the start, I remove a thorn from every triangle grouping. Meaning where 3 thorns are formed, soon a solid triangle will form. So I remove enough thorns to the point to where there is no triangle formation.

I DON'T remove all thorns though, it takes too much time.

Then i start to remove triangles, at most i'll only remove 3 triangles at a time mostly two. Once I do that I wait for the thorns to regenerate, while that happens I raise vitals. The thorns that usually regenerate are the ones I removed from the beginning. I keep repeating that process. If rows form, then keep proceeding, the key to triti is to not panic if thorns regenerate. Then keep repeating till you trap the triti into a corner. Then when you have two triangles left, wait till all four thorns regenerate, then pull all out. if you don't and you leave on thorn on the last triangle, triti will grow. Once all thorns are removed, you can remove the last triangles.

Basically this is my rule for triti:
- Before triangles can spread out, there has to be three thorns (for some doesn't work like that, dunno why -.-)
- If a triangle is left alone sticking out, it'll spread
- If triangles do regenerate, don't panic. Panicking will make your hand less steady and probably cause you to get a miss somewhere.

Hope this helps. I've S ranked Triti in both DS and Wii versions, just not X3 on wii yet, I haven't had time to go after the X missions. If I had someway to record them i'd post them but yeah. But most of my rules I got from watching that guy. :stiles:

New Blood is looking good so far although I wish they didn't give the two new doctors in the series the Healing Touch ability it should be a rare gift that a very few number doctors have or are born with like Derk Stiles, Dr. Hoffman or....

Second Opinion Spoilers

Spoiler:
Dr. Namoni Weaver forgive me if I have her name wrong. :sadshoe:

Also this time around Trauma Center:New Blood is a game that relays heavily on good teamwork in order to operate I rather see people work on medical skills and better communication with their team mate then relying heavily on the Healing Touch which I think will take away from the teamwork experience a bit. We also don't know if GUILT is going to make a return or not if they decide not to use that plot device again then I see little reason why HT should be included in a two player co-op game.

Another thing do they ever truly explain what the Healing Touch is exactly? Is it a type of GUILT?

Trauma Center Major Spoilers

Spoiler:
Derk is told that his power is said to be that of a descendant of the Greek god of medicine, Asclepius, which make little sense since GUILT eventually has a scientific reason as to how it came into being and that was because of a medical terrorist group named Delphi. Could the Healing Touch have been developed by a scientist with a code name Asclepius who wanted a way to enhanced the human sense to better view/combat GUILT?

What are your thoughts on the origins of HT? I just don't want to accept the ability coming from a 'god' as the answer when everything else in Trauma Center is based in some science.
