I get that a lot too.

I guess you know to lean forward. You don't want that much blood running down your gullet (possible to get sick from swallowing it, possible to choke on it).

There are operations available to cauterize or seal exposed veins inside the sinus cavity. You could ask your doctor about this.

Haven't had one in years, fortunately.

That's... really scary. Do you get tired a lot? Ever fainted? Losing that much blood can NOT be healthy.

...Consult a doctor.

I can recall at least two accounts where I've experienced nosebleeds in recent years. Once was in high school, and that was quite a few years ago. The second was last year, where I was about to go to sleep when it suddenly started gushing out all at once.

Fortunately I got to the bathroom before I could leave any bloodstains.

I do recall my mother having a nasty rash of them a couple months ago. She got them at least almost 2-4 times a day (or every other day).

Personally I just find it oddly interesting we just suddenly up and have nosebleeds due to the circumstances of the air or whatever else.

I've never had a nosebleed in my life, fortunately.

But four in a day, and that much blood each time? I'd see a doctor.

I've never had one. I think if it happened to me I'd think I was dying, I'd panic if I saw that much blood... are you okay? Do nosebleeds hurt?

THAT AMOUNT OF BLOOD IS NOT NATURAL.
I had a nosebleed last week, for the first time in years. It was nothing compared to that.
Heelllloooo. I'm to lazy to make a sig, but you don't really care, do you?

Okay, well, I've had that much blood come out of my nose before on several occasions.

And during wisdom teeth extraction.

I get nosebleeds too actually they don't happen often but they happen at least 3 times a year.

But amazingly enough they never happened at school and they always happen when I'm asleep.

So I have blood stains on my pillow. >_>

I've had the occasional nosebleed, but none of them looked like THAT. O_O That seems like an absurd amount of blood to come from a nosebleed, nevermind that it's apparently already happened three times earlier today.

I think you should see a doctor, too, if you haven't already.

I don't really get them often... I can't remember the last time I had one.

My brother, however, gets TONS of them. And he bleeds a lot during them. He's just fine though, but it really annoys him.

Nose bleeds? ... Oh I get a lot of those! There are really annoying because they messed up my shirts all soaked in blood in one spot.
I get them mostly in the winter but I had got a real massive one.
I had a puddle from a nose bleed....God I hate nose bleeds.
They come out through your mouth....and the after affect!
Sorry double post.

Now guys nose bleeds don't hurt it's like very dense water globing out your nose. It doesn't hurt its kinda like drowning in blood and it also comes out of your mouth. Oh it's kinda hard to talk when having on ....They suck I got the major one last week..I got the date wrong in the last post. Oh to dotsdfe and anyone else who gets nose bleeds do this take a hot shower and blow your nose to get a lot of moisture in your nose because nose bleeds are caused by very dry noses.
Sorry triple omega post.

Actually, that's usually what I do. It does help a lot.

Anyway, I had another at school today, but it was minor. I'm kinda light-headed, though.

The first thing I have to say is that I regret eating some chips right before I checked this thread. :spit:

I get nosebleeds every couple of months during the changes of weather and season weeks like when summer shifts into fall and etc. Depending on how fast and how badly the the weather shifts determines how much I bleed. I been pretty lucky this year...

THAT'S HARDCORE! THAT'S HARDCORE! THAT'S HARDCORE!

On the subject of nosebleeds, the last time I got one was when I was in a grocery store a few months ago. Luckily, I only got a little bit on my shirt.
