I think it'll be fine having it's own topic, just like Hotel Dusk. =) And we all know how long that topic lasted.

GOODS section:

"Objection!" and "Hold it!" T-Shirts

Way of the Rodent is selling Unofficial PW shirts for $22 a piece, in various sizes. The "Hold it" only comes in male sizes, but the "Objection!" shirt comes in male and female sizes. (May no longer be accepting orders...?)."

They are still accepting orders - I just bought one and it's been delivered.

And very nice I look too with OBJECTION! plastered across my ample bosom. Never seen so many men look and then look away swiftly in one lunch hour. It's causing amusement at work also. Complete win.

They're pretty good quality Ts also which is nice.

What, a t-shirt, or an ample bosom? They may charge extra for the latter.

Two things:

1. The preceding few posts were EPIC.

2. MvK's sprite sheet is still lacking DS-sized sprites for his forward facig animations.

Typo: at http://www.court-records.net/chara3-5.htm#ayame, it says "Mogan" instead of "Morgan".

If by "all" you mean "GS1-3" then...yes, they should be. I updated yesterday with looped animations. There still might be the odd mistake here and there...

Retiming the GS4 sprites to match the in-game style takes longer than I thought, though. It's going to be a while before the archive is consistent.

There's a typo under Dahlia's character page.
In her case 5 spoilers, it says "pour" instead of "poor".

Also, Young Edgeworth has a .rar file instead of a .zip, even though the link says Zip.

Theres a typo in the "Case Descriptions" section on Turnabout Aces. I think its that "off" is spelled as "of."
Who? Wright? Yeah, I remember him, I hear he's busy lately. You know, not to ring my own bell, but I sort of taught him everything he knows. I'm sure he's grateful.

Three typos:

Under Apollo's character page, the "French" in Name Origins is typo'd as "Frecnh."

In Trucy's character page, the last spoiler for Background has a single letter A in black instead of brown so it shows up like this:
Quote:
Background: [Case 4-4] A...<insert spoiler text about Trucy here>

And someone already brought this up earlier, but the subforum for GS3 in the Defendant's Lobby still reads Hazakurain instead of Hazakura. I keep thinking the place's name is Hazakurain instead of Hazakura because of that subforum! :payne:

Some stuff about the GS4 character page:

Spoiler:
- Ukari-sensei's name background is most likely the word "ukkari", "carelessly, thoughtlessly, inadvertently" - like Kirisaki-sensei's, a name not very becoming of a surgeon.
- "Klavier" means "piano" in German. "Keyboard" is actually "keyboard".
- The judge's name in Japanese reads "Hikita", not "Saibancho".

EDIT: I found a pretty awesome link explaining name backgrounds, be sure to check it out!

I just realized something regarding Manfred von Karma's name isn't included on his character page.

In German names, "von" is used to denote nobility. This could be used to assert that the von Karma's are nobility among prosecutors.

Alternatively, German writers in the middle ages commonly added "von" to their names to feign that they were nobility, adding an air of expertise to what they wrote. It could be said that, in his quest for total perfection, Manfred added the "von" to his name in order to add a certain superiority to it.

Just a thought. :karma:

Additionally: I may be writing an essay for the site relatively soon.

Ok, I have noticed that on the GS4 animations page, Klavier's last name is still Garyuu, on Iris's profile page under friends and family, it says:
Spoiler:
She is actually the daughter of Mogan Fey, and Dahlia's twin sister.

And finally, on Dahlia's page, again under Friends and family, it says:
Spoiler:
"Dahlia is Morgan's daughter, which makes her Ayame's twin sister." It should be Iris by now :D

I'm too thorough XD

Not sure if this is a spoiler but to be safe...

Spoiler: GS3 case 3-3
For the occupation in Violetta it says "Mob boss daughter" Shouldn't it say "Mob boss grandaughter" Since Bruto is her grandfather?

I have a suggestion, to help cut down on new people not following the rules, why don't we send them links. As soon as they become members they could get a pm with all the links to the important rule topics. It does seem hard, but it could help cut down on spam and missplaced topics.

Don't know if this has been mentioned already, but on 1-3's case description it says the case took place from October 16th-10th, 2016. Following the pattern of dates in the other cases, I'm pretty sure the actual dates should be October 14th-18th, 2016.

About Character Profiles -> Acro and Bat

While I haven't heard any confirmation about it officially, I'm almost 100% sure that Acro and Bat's real names, Ken and Sean respectively, are a reference to Capcom's super-famous fighting game series, Street Fighter. Ken Masters and his student Sean.

Been wondering about this for a while;
Doesn't the fact that Elise Deauxnim (and, to a lesser extent, Turner Grey) are the victims of their cases also count as a spoiler? Especially at the former I really hadn't expected her to die.

This is actually a fallacy propagated by people with German ancestors who like to think they are descended from nobility. It was only true up to a certain point in history, until the lower classes started adopting the idea of surnames. "Von" just means "From" in its basic form. So *some* "Von X" families are noble, many are not. And some families without the Von are aristos, too.

"Von" was also used to give orphans family names when found (e.g., baby found in Munich would get the name "von München").

(I suppose this is the right place to put this, soooo...)
For some odd reason, every time I post, regardless of whether or not there IS a problem I am given the message "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.". Even posting this message, it happened. The post is only given this message once, though, as they always work when I attempt to post the same exact post a second time. Even weirder, is that I cannot edit my PM's at all, and again, I am given the "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again." message.

Is there any others with this error, or does the site just hate me. :larry:
