I've already seen this on ff.net (and commented on some of the chapters too, I think), but I hope I can give you a more detailed review here.
First, I want to reiterate that I
love the idea of this crossover, although I'm not entirely sure I can explain why beyond the inexplicable mental Manfred/Vlad connection I mentioned before. Maybe I'm just too great a fan of both universes for my own good.
Using Kurian Village as an entry point is something that would have never even occured to me, but it makes a lot of sense. I haven't played T&T yet, so maybe you know something I don't, but I can imagine that there's something spiritual about that location. A natural ghost portal wouldn't be completely out of place there.

"I think their love is like a river," Pearl's soft voice broke in. "I once asked Mister Larry about it, and he started talking about a river in... what's it called? A river in a jipt."
Phoenix's eye twitched.
...It actually took me a few moments to get that joke. I'm so slow.

A gigantic, bright-green scorpion-like creature hissed at them, whipping its tail in warning. Vlad scowled. "Oh, curds and whey, I don't have the time for this!"
Methinks Vlad's been spending too much time around the Dairy King. :P I liked it, although I admit it's nursery rhyme origins reminded me more of Lancer than Vlad.

"...and such as it is, the district attorney assigned to prosecute the case would be a much more suitable target to... overshadow, as you put it."
I confess that I find the whole Danny/Maya angle a bit odd; Maya has three years on Danny, and while that's not a huge age gap for most relationships, it's a bit harder to swallow when Danny's still in high school (and Maya's... not). To be honest, I would have expected Nick to be a bit
more cautious about the whole situation (although Pearl's reaction to this
threat against her precious vision of a Nick/May relationship is great). On the other hand, Maya's young enough at heart that it might not be as big an issue as I'm making it out to be....

Jack leaned back, clapping his hand on Danny's shoulder. "Ghosts and samurai movies... this one's a keeper for sure! Hey, Maya, what do you think of fudge?"
Maya's never-ending grin only widened. "Fudge is awesome!"
"Danny," Jack's tone suddenly turned serious, and his grip tightened to the point where Danny thought he might get a bruise. "If you break this girl's heart, you're grounded for life. Understand?"
Your vision of Jack is perfect. I just thought you should know that....

"Withering away! Every moment you spend calling yourself Jack's son, you are letting your powers shrivel up and die a little bit more!"
There was a pause. "That was a stupid metaphor," Daniel's voice had gained confidence, "all things considered."
It's a depressing thought in retrospect, but it still made me laugh.
Von Karma giving Danny advice.... That's troubling for a number of reasons. I was expecting a duel of sorts, a pull for power, between Von Karma and Masters, but not over Danny. I'm not surprised that he's attracted to the kid's potential, and I think it's very in character for him to want him for his own dark purposes, I'm just curious (and kind of afraid) to see how he'll knock Vlad out of the picture to get him.
Also: Gregory
needs to crop up at some point and kick Von Karma's ass. Just saying.

I'm very eager to read the next chapter.
