The dialog in the game, is to my mind, quite suggestive at points. It could be the fangirl talking, but I can also ask you of your support for Phoenix x Maya, which I see as more of an older brother-sister-guilt (from Mia's death) complex than a romantic one. GS4's portrayal of Phoenix pretty much makes it canon that they, at least the best of our knowledge, never go together.
Also, I'm still debating on the canon quality of these Capcom anthologies. They're more likely just selected and glorified fanart/fanfiction/fan-doujinshi, 'professional tributes' as they're called.
Still, it bugs me that Capcom would have gone through the pile and these are notably, the ones they chose.
And they have Miles going ga-ga over buying Pink Princess trading cards and pivoting around with his cravat like some ballerina. The shower scene of him thinking of Maya while taking a bath isn't even romantic from what I can glean.
He also has plenty of those 'heart backgronud' tones behind him all the time, and in one panel, Phoenix is dressed up in Victorian prince's outfit and goodness knows what Mile's is wearing (I have no idea what that panel was about, and I don't want to know).
I'm not sure of other 'professional tributes', but by all the conventions of anime, that was just pretty gay.

Unless you are somehow going to suggest that during GS4, they actually were already a couple, and Apollo NEVER saw Edgeworth and Phoenix never said anything.

I think that and the conversation between Dollie and Iris on 6 to 10 are flashbacks, but the dates are confusing the hell out of me. Page 6 says July 7th and 10 says November 15th. Besides the huge spread in time, they hadn't even met Phoenix until late August and Dahlia was convicted in April, so there's no reason they should be talking about Phoenix in July.
...It's very, very sad that I'm giving this level of thought to a porn doujin.
