When Larry mentioned Phoenix falling off the bridge in court, Franziska seemed awfully suprised/worried to me. Try presenting something to Godot when you're talking to him in the Inner Chamber and when he refuses to comment, Franzy nearly begs him to give Phoenix a break.

On a semi-related note, Franzy obviously didn't know Nick fell off the bridge when Larry brought it up, then the next day she tells Phoenix she read all the case information on the flight back and found his "antics" that day particularly amusing. That's either a contradiction or a strange thing to lie about.

Antics could be talking about the whole Iris thing, since that would have seemed odd to everyone else.

And I could certainly see the surprise/worry thing. It's not exactly everyday someone falls 30 or so feet i think from a burning bridge into a river up on a freezing cold mountain.

Well, would Nick's accident with the bridge have been in the case information? While the murder indirectly caused the spikey-haired idiot to try and run over a burning bridge, the fact that he did has no bearing on the court case itself. And it seems like it would be the sort of information everybody neglected to mention, since she was also surprised to find out that she WASN'T going against Phoenix that first day in court.

The next day she may have just fibbed to Phoenix that she knew all about his "antics", because of course a von Karma would never miss a detail like that. She may have loosened up since J4A, but I get the impression she still wants to keep up a perfect front around Phoenix.

I can think of only far too many. I can see no one has thought of the obvious one. This probably has a trap though.

Franziska is a freak. Her immediate goal whenever with Phoenix is to drop everything she's doing and completely dominate him just for her own gratification. This weird behavior might also point to the fact that she isn't getting any...ZING!

Now...Just throw away every thought that might make Franny curious of his actions(and how Phoenix can usually turn eveything upside down on EVERYONE) due to Edgey going as far as stepping into foreign prosecution territory to help him, which must have really wowed her. The whole plot twist suddenly brings Franny and Wright to an investigation that neither of them are really looking forward to(it's cold!!!), and then the fact that her first participation in the trial with Edgey leads her on to believe she's going to be prosecuting the next day...Yeah I'd say she would keep an eye on him for better and worse.

On top of her dominating attitude, we see them both in a place so cold that it's officially a complete challenge for spirit channelers to live in. Franny doesn't look it but she's a brute. She probably wanted to mock Phoenix at any point where he complains. :\

Now consider this:
The point where Iris strays off and the fact that the murder in question looks impossible to do a complete walkthrough due to her magical floating over the burning bridge act...Would you stray after that kind of murder suspect alone? I'll admit Franny has guts but she's not stupid/crazy.

Okay NOW I'll get to the one where all these pairerers want to think first. o_O

Not bloody likely. Seeing as how Phoenix seems to be the only one that can stomp her case flat, I'm guessing she's pissed about it and she's curious enough to discover why he's so good at doing just that. Pretty simple.

Uh huh. He said his temperature wasn't high. He said it was only 102. But, normal temperature is 98.6. It's like Hell having a 102 temperature sometimes. It's kinda high to me. But, poor Phoenix had to do the case.

Having had to go to class and try and take an exam with a 102 degree fever, I can vouch for it being high enough! That Phoenix was able to focus at all amazes me. I couldn't concentrate at all when I was that sick, and the cold medication didn't help much XP Either he's got absurd stamina, absurd luck, absurd stubborn bullheadedness...

i think i finally found out why franziska was there that whole time. we've seen character development from phoenix all the time, we always see pearl and maya, we got to see alot of edgeworth in the last investigation, and we get to see godot's character development later in the chapter. We even see gumshoe develop throughout the series.

Who was the only other important character i didn't mention- Franziska. The whole reason she was there was to provide the player with a better idea of who she is, instead of being this one sided perfectionist. the only other time we saw her act differently was at the end of 2-4, but that was for only like 2 seconds

I agree that Capcom was aiming to show how she'd developed since 2-4. T&T covered a lot of characters development (i.e. Edgeworth, Larry, Mia) and it's not surprising they'd want to do the same with Franziska.
