Get Robin Williams to play :moe-laugh: though. Great role for him.

You will not give the Judge the role of the smartest guy from the X-Men series, we clear?

And now... Zenni-Boy.... hmmm..... a Wrestler, huh? That would be pretty tough to pull off... Someone who is young enough to look the part of him (otherwise I'd choose Hogan in a heartbeat) but strong enough to look intimidating. Also needs to be a great vocalist. Maybe you can get Chris Jericho? He is the singer in a rock band after all... Although you best wait until he gains a few more pounds. Otherwise, Triple H could probably look the role (He was in Blade: Trinity, among other things), but you need someone with a large muscle mass for Furio.

Also, for :will: , here's an idea: Get Glen Jacobs (or Kane for wrestling fans... the guy from See No Evil?) to play him. He has acting experience, and he looks scary as ****ing hell! He'd be way better than Deisel!

John Cleese would totally need to be in it xD De Killer, maybe.... The idea of of that just sounds so funny x3 (Or maybe Darke...?)

My sister and I were talking about this once... Les'se... She thinks Reese Witherspoon would make a good Franziska, and I can't help but agree because that would be sexy. ^^; I think we said Anne Hathawawy could be someone... but I'm not sure who... maybe it was Mia.... Or at least that she should be in it.

I don't pay attention to most actors to think of any for Phoenix or Edgeworth... I seriously don't know half the people suggested 0_0 But I think John Goodmen would work well for Gumshoe.

John Cleese, to be brutally honest, I could imagine as Grossberg well before de Killer. All he needs is a fat-suit.

Franziska would be a severe challenge. You need someone who looks like she's (almost) always in complete control, but also isn't hysterically angry (like getting Pink to be her)... I honestly can't think of a good idea.

Lets see... Going back to Angel Starr, she's very difficult to find someone for. You need someone who sounds mature for one thing... though also kind and sweet. And who could also turn serious in a heartbeat. I can't think of someone good.

And I think Shatner would be great for Redd White! I think he'd pull it off really well... plus they're both full of themselves, haha.

I could see Keanu Reeves as Edgey. He just has to summon the strength to actually shout out "Objection!" Al Pacino as von Karma would be hilarious; I bet he could even do a convincing German accent, too. William Shatner as Redd White is gold!

To whoever said the actor who did Agent 47 in the Hitman games for Shelley, I second that. The actor's name is David Bateson, and I think it would be funny to see him playing an assassin who's so different from 47. Christopher Walken as Dr. Grey or Gant, hah! Viggo Mortensen as either Jake Marshall or Diego, though I think Hugo Weaving would make a better Godot than Mortensen.

I've been trying to think who could be Phoenix, but I think Keanu Reeves would fit as either Edgeworth or Wright. Orlando Bloom would fit nicely as Wellington. Hmmm, Tom Hanks as Will Powers. Matt Damon as Larry, and Carrie-Anne Moss (Trinity in The Matrix) as Franziska.

Shatner... hmm... can he play a tough-guy? He could play cool, but could he play tough?

I'd like to see Keanu as Wright, myself... But who for Edgeworth... you need an Englishman, for starters... hmmm.... Hey, this is crazy but...

What about James Marsters? You know, Spike from the "Buffy" series? He showed how he can be witty... Hugh Grant could play Gregory Edgeworth...?

Lets see..... Mike Meyers could try out for Sal Manella, but I stand firmly behind Will Powers being played by Kane (Glen Jacobs). Besides, he used a mask for a looong time in his career, so he'd be used to it, I'd assume.

Someone once pointed out that they thought Christian Bale might make an interesting Edgeworth. I no longer have the picture they used to prove their point, but I would like to cast my vote for him in that general direction.

And, hah. I was also about to say that Seth Green would be fun as Larry Butz, but it seems someone's beaten me to it.

Anne Hathaway would actually be a pretty good Young Mia. Gerard Way for Edgeworth? ......no, probably not lol....
And how about Alan Rickman for Manfred? The voice is pretty evil :D
The Olsen twins would also be quite good for Iris/Dahlia, because they're so annoyingly sweet

:gant: - Michael Clarke Duncan.

I always found them both to have very intimdating personalities, and like in all of Michael's roles, he dies in the end.

Yeah, cheap shot, I know, but what're ya gonna do, eh?

Franzise Deuxnim wrote:

Seconded. Hell, you can even keep his real voice for that role! He's the perfect "Born Loser" persona... or you could get Steve-O, but I'd prefer Seth.

:judge: = Sean Connery.

Come on, give the guy a role already! The last one he had was in a video game! Also, you need an old guy, and I wonder if Connery can play Mr. Oblivious well...

I was thinking this over....

:matt: = Pierce Brosnan.

Not sure why, but he could also play cool pretty well. Heck, he was James Bond for quite a while...

:pshhh: = Jim Carrey.

I know, sounds strange, but I doubt "Ace Ventura" could say "Fabulous!" and not have everyone in the room laughing. I did hear, though, that once in a role, he constantly stays in it until the movie is over. Maybe that's a bad thing...?

Now, we need a young, but not too young, child actress to play Regina...

Again though, Robin Williams as :moe-laugh: , and Anthony Hopkins as :shelly: would be great roles, since they are used to these two personas: Robin = comedian/performer, and Anthony = Scary-a** killer... with sophistication.

:hotti: - Rowan Atkinson.

Come on, eh? Most of what Hotti says are "Hmm", "Yes", or "Hoh-hoh!". Easy script to work with, as the well known Mr. Bean, eh? I just wonder how they'll get him to make his hair into a pink tuft.

I can totally imagine Rowan saying "Hmm... yes..." and having the viewers of the movie rolling in the aisles dying from laughter. Also, the "pinch" animation would be hilarous if done by him!

Lets see... who else....... We need a famous bodybuilder to play :acro: though, that's unmistakable... I have no clue. I may be a wrestling fan, but if this is the only thing needed, I'd pick someone. But they also have to seem very light-hearted. I only think of Triple H or Chris Masters, both of whom have great upper bodies, so they could possibly pull it off... but I don't know how "light hearted" they can be. hmm.....

Lets see... I guess I have a few more ideas, some are pretty obvious though...

:ben: = Jeff Dunham. It's stupid for me to say that, but he IS a professional ventriloquist/comedian, and his lead "puppet" has a grumpy personality, so maybe it could work...?

:meekins: = Dustin Diamond. Sounds weird, but when I hear the word "Screech", I think of 3 things: Cars, Meekins, or SBTB. Also, who's better to play someone who is deemed as "not from our world"?

OMG!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE I NEVER THOUGHT OF THIS!!!

Manfred von Karma, or :karma: = .... CHRISTOPHER WALKEN!

Edit:
PouchedRat wrote:

All Mike Myers would gave to do is dress up like a cat again.
Why cant that guy from the X-Men movie play the Judge. They are both old and bald hence it automatically works.
Chris Jericho I don't think would work at all for Tigre. How about The Rock, the greatest pro wrestler of all time.

:yuusaku: Also that princess lady from the old Star Wars movie can play Ron Delite too since they both have the same hair.

Anyways, for more replies...Mike Meyers as Shoe would just be nightmarish. The last thing the viewers would want is Pearl Fey petting a cat 3 times her size. That's scary as hell.

Also, We need someone who, to be prutally honest, can pull off a look of obliviousness for the judge. He can't.

The Rock can do it, all they would need to do is add a growling sound effect when hes screaming. Mike Myers would be perfect because he has experience playing a cat duh. Michael Clark Duncan cannot be Gant because Michael Clark Duncan is black. There are no African Americans in The Phoenix Wright series so we wouldn't see people like Halle Barry or Denzel Washington.

I don't think race should be an issue, acting ability should be the issue...lot's of film conversions of TV shows/games/comics/etc. have characters that don't "look" the part. Like in Daredevil, Duncan played the Kingpin, or in Wild Wild West, Will Smith played Jim West.

Still, it will help the "Movie" remain true to the source material. Phoenix Wright and almost every other character was originally Japanese (before localization or course) yet no one has suggested any Asian actors or actresses because it simply doesn't make sense. Then again it doesn't help that Hollywood lacks a significant amount of Asian American stars as it is.
