Sheesh, so many 360 look good to me that I've left some out.

Bioshock and Eternal Sonata

You make a good point about THE Darkness but I may at least rent it before rendering final judgment. Assassin's Creed looks fun and entertaining enough that I can look past all the glaring flaws.

I know what you mean about the 360... I'm buying one in under a week(When my first paycheck comes in :D), and there's already 15+ games I want for it. :(

You mean The Darkness, right? Eternal Darkness was a very unique Lovecraftian horror adventure, and was of the best games of last-gen.

Master of Disguise is very, very terrible. Sprites are ugly, gameplay is clunky, and it's very easy.

There should be no questions about Galaxy, if you own a Wii, you need own Galaxy.

Contra 4 is fantastic, I didn't think it would manage to live up to its name, but I was pleasantly surprised by the final product. The difficulty is still there. :)

Sin and Punishment is one of the best rail shooters you're ever likely to play, and it was never released stateside. It's basically the only Virtual Console title I'd even consider purchasing(Unless Choaniki gets released outside of Japan).

D'oh! Stupid me! *headbangs keyboard*

May as well throw in a couple more that I missed.

Dead Rising, Rainbow Six Vegas, F.E.A.R., Ace Combat 6, and maybe The Orange Box. Perhaps Devil May Cry 4 and Ninja Gaiden II if I get around to playing and finishing their predecessors.

Seriously, I've played through two chapters of this and I like it. The only thing bothering me is the fact that it's so new that no one seems to know anything about it. It has the feel of one of those games where you have to be accurate with the touchpad. It gives you that feeling like you just gotta do this right the first time. Hahaha I love it.♥

Dead Rising is good, though it's incredibly repetitive. Depending on your personality, it can get old very, very quickly.

F.E.A.R is another cookie-cutter FPS, that tries to be scary. It was also a very pretty game when it came out on PC, but it's really not worth your while now.

Ace Combat 6 is great, second best installment in the series, sitting just behind AC4.

Orange Box has the best value for money of well, any game ever made. Every game in the package is AAA material, and there's 5 of them. The only way you can not love this is if you absolutely abhor shootans.

I thought The Oranage Box only had three games on it?

Re: Games you are interested in.Topic%20Title

Nope.

Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One, Half-Life 2: Episode 2, Team Fortress 2 and Portal.

Yes, the expansions are lengthy enough to be considered fully fledged games.

Senseless, unsheathable, mind-numbing destruction and decapitation is my speciality. That's why I love The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction so much.

The MGS series - How have not played this? >_>
Seriously, fantastic series, they're also the most cinematic games you're ever likely to play.

The Fire Emblem series - Entry level Tactical RPG, I can see you've got two vastly superior games further up the list, so play those instead.

Dragon Quest VIII: The journey of the king - Great if you like the older school of Japanese Role-Playing that focuse on level grinding. If you're more into Final Fantasy-likes, you'll hate it.

The Final Fantasy Tactics games - A step up from Fire Emblem, but not as good as the next game in your list.

The Disgaea series - Best.Games.Ever... the first has much better characters, while the second has much better gameplay. Both titles are must play, however.

Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly - Superb Japanese Horror title, it's also the best entry in its series. Try to pick-up the Director's Cut on the XBOX if you can.

The Silent Hill series - Great Psychological Horror series, there are no bad entries in the series, although 4 isn't really a Silent Hill game at all. Still decent though... I'd play through them in chronological order if I were you.

Dreamfall: The Longest Journey - Fuck yes, you are Norway's crowning achievement! One of the best modern adventure games, up there with Fahrenheit. Though, it's not as good as its predecessor, The Longest Journey.

The Viewitful Joe series - A very unique and charming sidescroller, the first is amazing, while the 2nd is quite rushed. I recommend only picking up the first one... PS2 version if possible, you get to play as Dante from the Devil May Cry series. >_>

The Resident Evil series - Play 4, skip the others. They're B-Grade survival horror titles, with terrible controls, and they lack any sense of horror.

New Super Mario Bros. - It's enjoyable, but it's very easy, and very short.

The Xenosaga series - This belongs on Global Studios

Ratchet & Clank series (except the first game) - These are very fun Third-Person Shooter/Platformers, with a large, quirky arsenal of weapons. Though, the humour style and gameplay gets old after R&C 3... I'd recommend picking up Going Commando, and Up Your Arsenal... ignore the rest of the series.

ICO - This.Is.Art... you must play it.

Does anyone think that I should get Dragon Quest Monsters Joker and FFXII Revenant Wings? (I'm not much of a tactical RPG person)
Re: Games you are interested in.Topic%20Title

Neither of those are Tactical RPGs, so why not?

I personally enjoyed Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker much than RW, and my only issues with it were that the interface was very simplistic and ugly.

Revenant Wings is an RTS for people who have never played games before, it's absurdly easy, the summons look dum. Other than that, it's quite decent.

Thanx a lot GotA! You've definitley convinced me! :will:
Also, the gameplay of FFXII RW looked like a tactical RPG to me when I watched gameplay trailers...
Re: Games you are interested in.Topic%20Title

Nah, it's a real time strategy game with RPG elements.

A Tactical RPG would be something like Fire Emblem or Tactics Ogre.

Just a couple of hours ago, I found DQMJ but no FF XII RW, so I bought it, went home and played it. I LOVED IT. Its the best DS game I've played in a while. I'm only going to spend money on christmas presents for others in the next few weeks though.

Well, I'm interestied in these:

Lifesigns: Hospital Affairs
the CSI game (DS)
the Death Note game <3
and, obviously, PW4, and I'm *kinda* sure that it's PRETTY AWESOME, like the other 3...

I know only CSI is out in English right now (I think?) and I'm thinking of getting it for Christmas, so if anyone's played it could they tell me whether it's good or not? :)

Okay, since I recently got my salary, I decided to buy 4 games of what Gears recommended. Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes, Viewitful Joe (Ps2 version), Dreamfall: The Longest Journey and Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. I also bought a cheap copy of Killer 7. All 5 games together costed 111€, which is price of two brand new games. Now I'm just waiting for them to be thrown into my postbox.

Am I a good girl nao?

Ah, heck. It was because I couldn't find any cheap copies.

The game's like 3 years old but it still costs pretty much the same as if it were a brand new game.

I finally found a copy at my gamestop for 18 dollars. That seems pretty cheap to me.

As for my interests...um...sorry, nothing coming up comes to mind because most of the title names sound horrible, but SSBB is a given...
