If you wanna try it out, you can find Grid Wars for free online, which is basically a carbon copy of Geometry Wars (but not as pretty, but still pretty nonetheless).
Anyone else in love with this game?

It's also one of the first things I want to download when I acquire an Xbox 360. That, and Bullet Witch. I know it got some less-then-average reviews, but play magazine liked it, and they have yet to let me down.

No, not really. I'm sure even the DS version of Geometry Wars: Galaxies has more depth than the latest Fire Emblem.

Can't remember my score for Retro Evolved, but I've hit about 15 million for one of the planets in Galaxies :3
Though I have to admit, that drone buddy of yours makes it much easier, and it's easy to make the multiplier hit 150.
