I could, if I ever get the right colors of fabric... I love sewing. Even though it easily gets annoying (like, for one thing, I need to find the lid for the seam ripper, and I also need to find the other seam ripper that the lid I found goes to, and they're different shapes, so I can't just interchange them... also, I need a machine that actually works right).

After sewing around the edge, you of course turn it inside out and stuff it, with the end that attaches to the face being the open end. Then you fold in the edges of the open end and sew it on the (otherwise finished) face, in a way that's like this:
Couldn't draw a cross-section of the whole thing there... I tried and it looked way, way too penis-ish... XD

So, everyone's excited about these Luksey plushies? Whoever can sew could make a nice profit, I'd say. If only I could sew, too... Maybe not for the profit, but I could make my own and then I wouldn't have to buy them from those who are more... mechanically-gifted, than I.
Also, the other night I was blessed to watch the movie Roxanne. It's a great movie and everyone else in this thread should watch it, too. It spawned this, for starters. Tee hee, oh, C.D.~

Also, the ring. I think I might look for a big ruby button or red rhinestone and just add it onto his hand. Same goes for the chain button...things on his coat front. I cant get to far into it today, I still need to find the black cloth for the suit.
Considering the amount of time I have, I don't think I'll be able to make more than one though... sorry!

That's what I thought at the beginning of art class last year, but the first project I did this year was of Luke, oddly enough, but basically I'm much better than I thought I was, and you should keep your spirits up because you never know until you really make that effort and *rambles*

You know, with Luke, a lot of it is a sort of "reaching out" thing, pairing-wise. I won't dwell on my own pairing or anything, but I think that's how it works with a good Lukeshipping. After all, he is Mr. 'I just want love' himself, so one of the most heartwarming aspects of pairing him with someone is having someone finally just turn and give it to him. Maybe because the idea could spark a real shift in demeanor for him. I mean, think about it! He's such a smartass, and so eccentric just to get attention. It's just... So sweet, and sad, to think about how he would act if he really wanted a specific person, and if that specific person actually returned his feelings.
Then again, I'm just a big baby for that sort of thing. X3;; Maybe it wouldn't be like that at all... Of course, if he actually got into a relationship, I can see him going straight back to his usual self. But the initiation, and maybe even whenever there's real intimacy...

It's easy to tell someone you like them, but is it as easy to identify with a person emotionally? That's part of what I intend to go on as far as my fic goes. No one has to agree with me as to -why- I decided to come up with this idea, or even why I decided to pair my chara with him in the first place. But to show -how- and my motives for doing so is more important.
In essence to make it as realistic to an actual relationship in the real world as possible.
Of course without cheating and soap opera crap of course...XD

I'm sorry, I'm not very good at explaining myself on this sort of thing... (I'm better at writing it out rather than attempting to explain it... I think.) But yes, I see what you mean in the direction you're taking your fic (I didn't know it was a fic! X3).
Hee hee, imagining him trying to start a relationship amuses me, for some reason. I'd say his potential partner would be a little put-off at first, at least. He comes on so strong... XD; And, well, just the way he acts concerning himself. With work, though... Well, for him, he might have to be 'broken' before any real emotional connection could be made? It's a sad thought, but then again I like the idea or seeing him vunerable, so maybe not at all... ... I can be such a sadist. D:

And while he may come on strong, maybe even seem a little intimidating...that might serve the purpose of taking the potential partner's mind off their own problems. A sort of curiosity.
Then both personality quirks clash, and puts them both off for some time...until the walls collapse anyway.
Eventually, with their hearts on their sleeves, they realize that even though their beginning situations are different, that they both want the same things initially; Acceptance, understanding...possibly the affection and support of another.
