My earliest writing was like that, too. God, when I look on my old works, I just want to gag.

And I have a strange, ominous feeling that this topic will be full of GOAT's presence.

Lol "goat" XD

Noobiest thing I ever did was probably letting my account for an MMO get hacked.

I barged in on a RP and spoke in chatspeak.

When I think of that, I hide my head in shame.

Just a note, all: I haven't been on in a while, so I'm trying to get my little persona here back in order. I won't be on as much in the future, maybe a few times a week. Sorry!

Gears or Mill?

My one n00b moment that I can recall was in FFXI, it was horrible. Stopped playing the game for a while at that point.

Everytime I play Fire Emblem....I get one of my troops killed, then I restart the game and try again. I look at the internet and see everyone else...they got skillz, I just started. I'm on chapter 18. Two of my troops were upgraded, most of my troops are extremely underleveled, and my tactical ability can't be found.

So the biggest moment that I can recall is trying to play a tactics game when your tactics suck.
My mom tells me to practice.
Don't mind me, just passing through.

Once I posted my name, in full, on an internet forum, for everyone in the whole fudging world to see.

It's still searchable Google, even though I censored it out. FUDGE.

My name isn't searchable on Google.

The biggest noob trait of mine is NOT putting a robots.txt on my site. :lana:

Every hour I'm crawled by Google, Yahoo, some other spiders, and my FTP is being constantly brute forced by some asshat with weird login names like Alex, Administrator, Bukka-...Yeah the list goes on and on. :nick:

First rule of .netadmins: Rename the admin account to the name of your daughter's best friend's pet penguin that recently died of face cancer. Of course this method is only valid in the State of California. :yuusaku:

The worst part is that my IP randomly changes. If I'm on dial-up, everyone gets in but it's slow on both ends. So in conclusion the noobiest thing I've really done is use the services of Cox and Comacast since NO ONE sees me when I use either one of them. :lana:

As far as the chatspeak thing goes, the worst I've ever done is type in escapecodes. That's it.

Anyone taht typz liek dis needs to put a bag over their head. =/

I've always typed in proper grammar. ( '_' )

The n00biest thing I've ever done was generate Mary-Sue fanfiction and roleplay characters. Glad I don't do that anymore, or at least I put in the effort not to.

I seriously don't know what the deal is with Gaia Online. It's horrifying. The people on there post non-stop just to buy clothes and stuff for their anime avatars...Or whatever it is. o_O

This is a porn to people. I'm not sure why.

My early fanfiction and author notes still send shivers down my spine. Whenever I look through them, I just ask myself why I even bothered to write the stuff. Then again, I thought I was actually good back then... ;_;

I got into really stupid arguments. That was bacically it. YEah I was also revlitivly (sp) narrow-minded.

The only thing I see wrong with my early Fanfics is the length and horrid grammar. HOLY CRAP the grammar...

Hell they could've been better but for a first fic it was a pretty good start. I didn't spot any gorge-your-eyes-out-bad mary sues.

My first RP post was Dofa alright. But he was trying to sound all gangsta. He's all "YO! I'M DOFA!" That was the first thing I did on this site. It was even before I made his last name and his step sister. :gymshoe:

You are not a Noob if you play and beat Contra 4 on HARD. (like me) :godot:

ehh ...only if you use cheats.

Cheats = noobs

..unless it's "just for kicks because i finished the game already without them" or something.

I honestly can't remember a noobish moment that I had...

No, wait! I remember when I first came into this forum. I bluntly asked for a translated ROM of the first case of GS3. Even though there technically wasn't any rule for it (afterwards there was), I think I got on everyone's nerves. I can't believe how stupid I was two years ago. =P

Oh, and one time I referred to Croik as a "he," but I tried to cover it up by saying that it was a typo and I meant "she." XD
