What are your favorite songs that are in movies and what movies are they from?

To start things off I like "God Gave Rock and Roll To You" from Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey.

Have at it!

Does your definition of "songs" include music where nobody is singing? Because some people include instrumental music within their definition of "songs".

Hmmmmm.... This thread will get spammy quick :(

The first one that comes into my head is "Humans Being" by Van Halen thats in Twister... it comes into my head only because its my favorite movie and I love that song.

I do like that song from Titanic more now then I did then... probably because every single radio station played it 10000000x a day XP

I can't think of many more, because too many movies use the same songs and I hear them other places and I can't get where I originally heard something straight anymore, unless its in Japanese or another foreign langauge.

I hadn't thought about that... I'll say yes. Any music that is in a movie.

Alright, then. I like the instrumental soundtrack from Lord of the Rings. The singing by Enya... not so much... The other choir-like singing was okay. The instrumentals from Pirates of the Caribbean was cool, too. I especially liked the main theme.

Would you be so kind as to explain how what I posted has anything to do with idiocy? It's a perfectly legitimate question. Music is technically not a "song" unless there are vocals in it, so I asked for clarification on this aspect. I asked if instrumental music is permitted in this thread, and the OP said "yes". Your constant trolling gives the impression that you flagrantly enjoy wasting your time attempting at superiority.

Don't You (Forget About Me) from the movie The Breakfast Club is one I like. The song is good, but it just fits perfectly for the movie!
