Did anyone play this on the Sega Dreamcast? It was kinda like Guitar Hero with Maracas and the main star was a monkey.

Well, I've never played it, but it had Reel Big Fish! :godot:

I think they should remake the game for the Wii, it would actually work quite well! I mean, if NiGHts is being remade, why not Samba De Amigo?

Samba is one of those party classics...thoroughly enjoy it, a pure dance masterpiece :)

And yeah I think Sega are looking into updating it for the Wii, you just need 2 remotes each...

Well, not really, I believe the nun-chuk works too. I believe it did for some games.

Samba De Amigo...I played this at my local Arcade long time ago and it is still fun.

I always wanted to try the second game that was exclusive for the Dreamcast...Samba De Amigo Ver.2000.

Anyway, yeah this game was pretty fun. It was a nice alternative to the Bemani games at the time(I played this back in 2002 during my guitar class). I didn't know there was gonna be a wii version, but I might have to check it out.

It's cool. I was just remembering that one X-Play review for beatmania US. Though I'm not complaining about the score they gave it(I'll agree that BM US was a bad release), the way they handled the review was ridiculous. The worst part was that they compared BM US to Guitar Hero, which is incredibly ironic and ignorant.

I remember that one of my friends had the game and the maracas, but I had never known the title up until yesterday via a game mag.

I hope not. SDA was one of my favorite Rythm titles for the Dreamcast.

Then again, If it wasn't for NiGHTS and Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, I'm pretty sure Sega would be close to broke by now.
