Kane opened his eyes dissapointed and saw that Leonne was still staring at him,

"Fine, fine, what the hell do you want?"

Five minutes later, Kane was twirling a card around in his claws and said very quietly "Cyrus... You've been here haven't you?..."

Leonne shuffled and drew his cellphone from his shirt pocket. "10:13 pm. At least he's not after me anymore." he whispered to himself.

Just as then Leonne lifted his guard, he saw a werewolf-like creature. "N-n-no way...could it be? Pherserionne..?" said the astonished mechanic.

Kane stood up again and went over to the door and said "Cyrus, I'm going to find you." he pushed open the door and bumped into the very man himself.

"Kane..."
"Come with me... Would you like a drink?"
"Why not."

Kane hurried off to the counter and Cyrus shut the door behind him, he went to a seat and saw Kane appear next to him.

"Did you do it?"
"Yes, where's my pay?"

Kane took some cash out of his coat pocket and threw it at Cyrus.

There they stood, man and dragon, next to the seats chatting quietly.

"Hell, look at the time" said Cyrus "I gotta dash."
Kane nodded and Cyrus left the bar again in a hurry looking anxious.
Kane returned to his Vodka, he placed the bottle on the table and sniffed the air again, he stood up suddenly almost knocking his bottle over.

Kane remained standing up and staring at the floor thinking to himself, he watched a beetle crawl by...
Normally, he would've torched the place for being unclean but instead, he casted a powerful cloaking magic on the insect and took control of its body, he closed his eyes and the he saw through the beetle's eye, he used it to crawl around the bar looking for whatever had made him feel uneasy.

[[OOC: First, I apologize for any intrusion. Two...since this takes place when Phoenix and Miles are 26...that'd mean Mille's 20...for now.]

The sound of two feet touching the ground is drowned out by the business of the city outside. A blond female comes upon the bar, still dressed in a most Edgeworth-like suit jacket and a black skirt that came down just below her knees. She would have passed for a normal human if not for two things: Over her left ear and eye was a mounted glass device, and she had a rather long monkey-like mahogany tail.

"Ah...so this is The Platinum Dragon...wonder if any humans will 'object' to me going in here?"

She tugged the door open, a cocky smirk on her face, suddenly flicking a hoop earring.

"Looks rather quiet in here...wonder if I can get a extra-rare steak...?"

Rather large feminine hands position themselves on semi-wide hips as her tail swishes back and forth, seeming impatient. She brings her fingers up to a small button on the device mounted on her ear and eye.

"Hmm...unusually high power for ordinary humans...if I recall, that judge's was only 15..."

Eyes narrow, making her seem almost jaded as she props herself in a seat in a corner booth, sliding a law book out of her jacket. This was going to be quite a wait.

There are no heroes left in man. Mankind is doomed by the likes of you.

For the third time that night, Cyrus entered the bar again and said
"Has anyone seen my-" he began looking from Lycos to Kit and then he said "Oh look there they are." and he grabbed his playing cards from the table and left in a hurry, almost treading on the beetle that Kane was controlling.

Lycos turned from his seat with at the table with the monkey-tailed lady at the new guest that entered the tavern. Without even looking at him he started to growl a bit. 'not another dragon...' he thought to himself as he thought about why there's so many dragons coming to this specific bar.

Kane abandoned his magic and went to the bar again
"Stella Artois"
He buried his face in his claws and inhaled the smell of spirits and beer... He entered his thoughts and began to think of his past

"Kane, where's father?"
"No idea."
"Kane! Father was just with you... You... He-"
"I don't know, Fenrir, look for him yourself."
"Kane, you didn't-"
"No."
"You're no going to help me-?"
"No."
"Fine... I'll look for him myself."
"You do that... Here... Take this ring for safekeeping... And I don't say this much but... Good Luck."

Kane awoke from his thoughts when a pint was placed in front of him, he took his ring off and held it up to the light where a single name was scratched on it.

Jade gave a smile as she bounded into the bar. She'd seen it from across the road on her walk home, and had decided to drop in. She didn't much fancy being alone in this city after dark, but it was only a short walk to her apartment from here, and she didn't plan on staying too long.
She walked up to the counter, and paused for a moment as she decided what to order,
'Hi, could I have a lemonade please?'
She pulled her bag, (her favourite, made of demin, with a dragon motif emblazened on the front), from her shoulder and started to dig around for her purse.

Kane wore the ring again and took out a blank piece of paper, he tapped it with his claws and handed it to the bartender, who saw it as real cash.
The dragon's magic was wearing thin these days, he focused his thoughts and entered his past once more.

Lycos kept his eyes locked on the dragon, easily seeing through the magic. The wolf walked up to the bar and ordered the same drink that he saw the dragon ordered, then payed twice the price of it. "Keep the change." he muttered as he stays sitting 5 stools down from the dragon.

Kane waved his claws aimlessly in the air and conjured a piece of paper out of the air, took out a fountain pen and began writing.

Fenrir entered the bar wearing a dark hood to hide his face and saw Kane at the bar, he was about to greet him when Kane spoke.

Fenrir sat next to him "Hey, how is it?"
"Fine... So... Did you find him?"
"No, I didn't... So unfortunate..."
Kane looked up and ordered another Vodka.
"Kane" Fenrir said "Look at this" and he pulled a rifle out of his cloak and showed it to Kane,
"Shit... Where did you get that?"
"Nicked it." Fenrir said "Anyway I might go out now and mug someone else-"
"No, stay." said Kane looking back down at his letter,
"And what if I don't... Are you going to bite me?!"
"Course I'm not going to bite you" growled Kane tiringly.
"If you bite me, I'll bite you straight back." said Fenrir threateningly and then he ordered a whisky and asked
"What are you writing?"
"Just a letter."
"Well... You haven't written very much..."
"I almost finished."
"Your letter is too short then."
"Look" snarled Kane his temper rising "My letter is not fuc*ing too short..."
Fenrir looked surprised "Okay... Okay..."
And not wanting to sit next to a rather angry Dragon, Fenrir shuffled to the seat next to him and took his hood off.

Fenrir remembered something
"Oh yeah, Kane." and he took off a ring from his right paw and passed it to the dragon.
"Oh... Cheers" said Kane his anger subsiding and at the same time took off the ring from his claw and slid it across the bar to Fenrir, Kane rewore his own ring and instantly felt his magic returning to full strength.
Kane tapped his letter and made it vanish and then stood up and went to the front door "Eclipse, come."
"What? Where-?"
Fenrir followed Kane outside to the side of the bar.
"Why are we coming out here...?"
"Don't want to be overheard..."

Emma glanced up from her bag at the sound of the voice next to her. The owner of said voice was an Anthro-wolf. Maybe a few years ago she would have been shocked, but she had become used to strange sights now. And, of course, there was the talent she had kept hidden since she was a baby...
She set her bag down on the floor and looked at him. Could he be trusted? Well, there was no reason to be suspicious. She was just a Legal Aide relaxing in a bar, right? Nothing would happen. And, if he was asking, surely this wolf knew... But, that didn't mean she had to reveal more than she had to.
"Yes. Yes I did. Why are you asking?"

The dragon and the wolf entered the bar again, Kane with his usual expressionless face and Fenrir somehow looking nervous about something.
“Do not repeat what I just said to anyone else, Eclipse, only the five of us know about it…”
“Kane, that’s incredibly risky… I’m not sure if the plan will work-”
“It will… I hope…”
Kane and Fenrir returned to the bar and resumed their drinks,
“I need to send Cyrus and Isher a message” said Kane and he waved his claws again “Prelesium Feredio Cyrus erh Isher.”
A small green light appeared and then disappeared.
“I stole something else from that guy…”
“As well as the rifle?”
“Yeah, look”
And Fenrir pulled a silver dagger from his cloak, a dagger with a small ruby encrusted in the handle.
Kane recoiled slightly as he saw it “Put that away…”
Fenrir slid the dagger away and looked slightly confused at the dragon.
“That was a dragon slayer… I never thought I’d come so close to one…” Kane muttered.
“Brilliant” whispered Fenrir “I could stab you with it if you ever-”
“Quiet… Someone’s eavesdropping.”

Lycos' ears flicked forward the moment he noticed them realize he was listening in on their conversation, turning back to the lady in front of him. "Because, I do believe that they're associated with Cyrus and may be of use for me to find him again. I need his services." he said, loud enough for her to hear, hoping that the commotion of the bar would prevent the dragon and the other wolf from hearing him.

She darted a glance over to where the dragon and wolf were sat. They didn't look friendly, to put it lightly.
Oh God... I don't need this. I should leave now, and work on my sister's case. She trusted me to help her, and if I get into this, I'm just letting her down. And after all that she's done for me....
I should have known something would happen. This place is called the Platinum Dragon after all....

Fenrir twitched "Kane... That... Wolf behind me just said-"
"I heard" said Kane and then another flash of green appeared and a piece of letter drifted slowly on Kane's claws.
"What is it?" Fenrir said silently.
"Cyrus' response..." said Kane scanning the letter
"What does it say?"
Kane was silent
"What does the letter say?..." Fenrir repeated
"He'll be here in 15 minutes... Then we'll wait for Isher and then we can start our meeting..."
"What... Here?" whispered Fenrir looking wildly around him
"Yes... Here... Cyrus will be here in 15 minutes." said Kane loudly and then he returned to his drink while Fenrir looked uncomfortable.

de Killer began making his way to his car when a voice behind him spoke,
"Cyrus!"
"Saigen... What do you want?"
"Where are you going?" asked the man quietly
"Just to the bar... I have a meeting..."
"This wouldn't have anything to do with Kane and Fenrir does it...?"
de Killer froze
"How the hell did you know...? You haven't been-"
The man called Saigen staggered backwards as de Killer advanced towards him "L-Look Cyrus! I- I won't tell any-"
de Killer punched a knife into Saigen and he fell to the floor and began to gasp,
"Take a hard earned rest... Saigen..." said de Killer and he impaled him once more with his knife.
The man rolled over dead with a shocked expression on his face.
"Enveriski" said the assassin and Saigen's body disappeared.
de Killer resumed his walk to his car and looked as though nothing happened.

Lycos had caught what was said by the two he was listening to. 'Perfect.'[i] he thought as he got his paperwork together. A folder with the words "Classified" on it being pulled from his jacket He slipped the papers he pulled out into the folder and closed it, tucking it back into the jacket. "Thank you for your assistance Miss. I got what I needed." The wolf said, bowing to her and moving to a new location in the bar, making sure that Fenrir and Kane saw him move. [i]'now all i gotta do is wait.'

The bar door opened with such force that the whole building seem to shake and Cyrus stepped inside, Kane leapt off his stool and approached him "That was not fifteen minutes..."
"Sorry, has to do something." muttered the assassin as he pulled a face.
"Let me introduce you, that's Fenrir over there."
The wolf waved
"Eclipse, this is Cyrus."

Cyrus nodded again and went off to the back of the bar, collapsed onto a chair and rested his head on his arms on the table looking bored and extremely tired.

The door of the bar opened, and a tall, lanky maned walked in. He was carrying a trenchcoat over his right shoulder and a fedora under his left arm. He threw the tranchcoat over one of the bar stools and threw his fedora on the counter. He plopped himself onto the stool. "Gi'me a bootle of whiskey and a bottle of vodka and a glass" he said to the bar tender as he slammed a fifty to the counter. If anyone ever looked like they needed a drink, it was this man. It looked like he'd hoofed all over the city, and just wanted to get some sleep now.

Jade breathed a silent sigh of relief,
Good, he's gone... Now I can just get my lemonade, have a relax and go home. And completely ignore the dragon. The suspicious dragon. Who could probably kill me if I wasn't prepared. Hell, he'd kill me anyway. Alright, get your lemonade go to the back of the bar and sit back. You've been running round the city all day, and you've got to be in court tommorow. No point getting into anything. But...
She silently watched the dragon and wolf as they talked. Antoher dragon came in, they talked for a few moments, then he went to the back of the bar and seemed to collapse into a chair.
Running her hands through her hair, she turned round to see a tired looking, quite tall man sat next her,
"Ahh!"

"Thats fine, just try and keep it down to a dull roar..." he gulped down a beer mug of whiskey and vodka "I've got a splitting headache..." He paused, and glanced at the dragon asleep in the corner "You know that guy?" he asked as he pointed to the corner.

"Oh. Well, I can't really tell you..."
"Classified info, huh? Are you sure you can't give me a little hint?"
"Well... All right. But don't tell anyone, OK?"
"Fine. I promise."
"Well, the guy who did it was callled Shelley de Killer. He's... a professional asassin."
"What?!?"
"Yeah, there's a whole police task force that are just after him. Whenever he kills anyone he leaves a card-"
"Well why didn't they realise it was him then?"
"Oh, someone picked up the card or something. But look, don't tell anyone. It's classified. I only know because it was to do with the trial."
