Criticism (constructive, of course) welcome. Hopefully most of these sprites will be hand drawn conversions, but some will be sprite edits. I have to wait on my friend to draw my characters which could take some time.
I personally can't draw very well, but hopefully my next few sprites will be hand drawn by my friend Neal.. he can draw very very well. :)

As for the face, it's almost laughable to suggest that you'll have a tiny blob (or two) of shading on someone's face. The courtroom light is in the middle, coming down, so his face should be more shaded then two blobs.
As for the strap; Oh, it looked like the inside of his sleeve, for a moment.
Other then my problems with it, it's a quite a good sprite ^^

True, but surely you understand that for something you put effort into to be met purely with criticism is jarring to say the least.
I'll bear this in mind when redo this one and the rest of my sprites. I did do more than a tiny blob or two, but perhaps they don't show up well enough in the sprite.. If anything I can see I need to do more shadowing. Here is a closer picture before I resized it to show you where I did the shading:

As far as the name goes.. Yes I know it's a terrible pun (for those of you who didn't get it, "Esrun" backwards spells "Nurse") however I felt it was in keeping with the Gyakuten Saiban theme. Also, the reasoning behind changing her hair to Adrian Andrew's hair was because this character is actually based off of a family member.. Adrian's hair was a closer match :)

I do have a problem with the hair. Some of it (especially the left side of it) seems to sort of... merge with the face. In other words, there's no outline connecting it to the face. It looks a bit weird. Otherwise...

Edit: Well, I didn't do one today like I said I might. Now i'm holding out for my friend Neal I mentioned before. We've started working together on this little project properly now, we've already sat down and worked out 3/4 looks for some characters, i'm very pleased with how it's all going thus far. I will probably do another random sprite from art for practice over the next few days.. hopefully we'll have at least 1 characters artwork finished before I have a week off starting march 7th.
2nd Edit: Also, I just made a thread over in the audio section for the custom music i'm doing. Please check that out and give me your feedback!

Did some more art the last couple of days. Turned this particular picture into a sprite! This is a bit more what my main character will be looking like in the finished product (although I won't be doing the artwork for the finished product).
