Anyways, According to the site, Adventure, Classic, and a "Hidden Game Mode" (All Star, I assume), all share this:
CHOOSE YOUR FATE!!!
Also, the following occur IF you choose to use this function:
- Your score gets cut in half
- Your score gains a single point (to keep track of the number of times you continued)
- You forfeit a number of coins
Easy... 10 Coins
Normal... 20 Coins
Hard... 30 Coins
Very Hard... 50 Coins
Intense... 100 Coins"
They state that these "coins" are the ones ou use in Spectator Mode.
Also, if you want to try and play "Intense", they state that you should have a LAAARGE supply of coins, particularily "in the latter half of Classic Mode".
Naturally, if you can't pay...
YOUR FISSION HAS MAILED!!!
Now, in SSE, it's a bit different.
You don't lose ANY couns, but...
Let the trophies hit da floor!
You CERTAINLY lose valuable things!
- You lose one half of the Stickers and Trophies you’ve just collected (items obtained from orange boxes and CDs are guaranteed to stay in your collection).
- You resume play from the beginning of the step (the unit of area from one door to another) at which you died.
- The amount of coins you get for beating the stage slightly decreases.
If, however, you choose to "Go Back to Map", you'll get the same effects... except when you BEAT the stage, you will lose a LOT more coins!
RISE, MINIONS!!!
However, going to the MAP allows you to re-select the difficulty level, so it's not like it's a total loss!
So, you want it Hard now?
Personal opinion? Pretty useless update but...... It's not like we KNOW this already......

It may actually be a "Boss Rush" mode that Sakurai is talking about. Apparently (I don't think it has been mentioned before), it is a key to one of the possibilities to unlock Wolf - beating Boss Rush with Fox. I'll take a look in my history and see where I dug that up...
EDIT:
Right at the bottom of the page, you'll see Wolf. It's the very first condition.
It is quite literally described on this page.
While All-Star mode is obviously making its return, Boss Rush mode is now included, it seems.

Finally, a truly DECISIVE reason to buy this game! (I was starting to be veered off course of wanting it, but if they have THIS, then I'm ready again!!!)
And I forgot that with "All Star" the POINT is to beat them all in one "run".
At least I heard that Ridley is making an in-game appearance, but... I want THREE specific moves of his to ALSO make their return:
Fireball.
Grab.
Tail Whip.

From what I have watched, both times (yes, 2) you fight him, he has plasma breath (FIYAR), and will whip with his tail. And the first time you meet him, he grabs Samus and flies around the room with her, grinding her on the wall.
But yeah, Boss Rush looks sweet. I've missed them so much. Last one I played was from Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland.

Default Special Move: Giant Punch.
A staple move in the series: The Charged Punch is a pretty common move among DK Players, They'll usually charge it early, and make you paranoid throughout the ENTIRE match!

Also, if DK attacks with the move when his charge is FULL, you get a special bonus! NO FLINCHING!

Side-Special: Head-Butt.
I never liked this move, personally... they never stayed down long enough to pull off something REALLY good...
I ATTACK WITH PLAQUE-INFECTED HEAD!
AND FOLLOW IT UP WITH A FREE PUNCH-TO-YO-FACE! I-D-I-D-O-T-H!
Now, will you ALWAYS be able to hit the punch?
No.
Yeah, like they'd be THAT generous!
- The amount of damage taken is proportional to the amount of time spent buried.
- If they’re in the air with the Head-Butt, you won’t be able to bury them.
- It’s harder to hit with the Head Butt than it is with the Giant Punch.
Naturally, charging first is the best idea, THEN hitting the Head-Butt.
But remember this VERY CRUCIAL AND OFTEN FORGOTTEN PIECE OF INFORMATION!!!

......... they actually typed that..... Like we'd forget.
"NO WONDER I CAN'T ELIMINATE THEM! I THOUGHT "0%" MEANT THEY WERE READY TO BE ELIMINATED!"
Seriously though, also keep this in mind: The Head-Butt rule about damage leading to how long they will be stuck for, is the same for the "Carrying" ability of DK: They will stay with you, for longer, if you hurt them more.
