"ah-" Sneezing again, she couldn't really understand how quickly her husband left and came without her noticing.

Sitting on the grass next to Ruthie, she warped her arms around herself. The wind wasn't helping a whole lot. Think, Lilith, think positive....they're nice people, they're...

"Th-thanks" She answered as she heard Nat announce. Heh, even in the worst of the scenarios, he seemed happy...she guessed that was one of the many reasons she married him.

Nat smiled, hoping to instill some more positivity, aided by the Highly optimistic young Bride-to-be, "I'm so glad for you, I hope you do well together." ^_^.
He loved Lilly, and he knew she needed him to stay positive, as she was very emotional, something he was somewhat inable of, and for which he admired her.
"So, can I get you girls anything?" Nat was considering how steep the hill was, he nearly tripped down it on his way back, he can't imagine them getting back up easily...
He smiled again, hoping he would keep everyone happy. ^_^

"Sis!" In mid-bite of her hotdog, she scampered over to Addict, collapsing to a kneel and throwing an arm around her shoulders. "I'm glad you could make it! And... with food, even!" Jou's face reddened considerably with the passing thought that she hadn't even remembered to bring anything less than her easily-lost self.

Laughing in another wave of embarrassment (as they were a bit too frequent for her own good), she retracted her arm and continued nibbling onto her hotdog as she watched a few people leave the blanket in favor of the newcomer's suggestion to visit the river. "That sounds like a good idea, actually... I love rivers." Jou murmured to herself in thought, tapping her cheek with a forefinger in thought. "D'you want to come, Addict? I don't wanna follow alone. And I'd feel bad if we left right after you brought all this food!" Her curls tilted as she nodded her head to gesture the treats her sister had brought along.

"Can you tell papa we're down here?" She said to Nat, grabbing one of the towels he brought and drying her shivering legs. "Bet he didn't even notice."

Feeling happy inside, just because she felt like she could talk freely now, Lilith quickly forgot about how cold she was feeling. Looking at Ruthie, she noticed the sadness in the girl's voice. Even if she tried to cover it, leave it to a girl to understand another girl's pain.

"That's....sad, you know?" She said in a low voice. "You have a crush on someone and he doesn't notice?"

A smug grin formed in her face for a second, but was quickly wipped off by a smile.

"Good luck. I'm sure you'll make a lovely bride" She whispered. "Personally, i'd like to stay here" She said,completely changing the topic, half-closing her eyes. "I'll go in a second...Nat! Can you help her back to the picnic? I'm sure you wouldn't leave a girl to wander alone, right?"

"Heh, of course, here, let me help you" Nat helped his wife up, and helped, practically carried, her up the hill. She was still sopping Wet, and Nat could imagine her slipping down the hill several times were she by herself.
Whe they reached the top, Nat put her back on the ground, and accompanied her back to the Table, to sit with everyone else.

Walking towards where Ruthie was, she kneeled so she could stare at her fully at the face. "Something wrong? I thought i saw you crying when you left". Inside, she felt bad. Truly bad. But weddings were a touchy subjet to her, so she couldn't help but be a bit hostile...maybe too hostile with the soon-to-be-brides.

Letting out a small growl, Lilith quickly backed away from the couple. Screw it, she wasn't there to feel bad. Walking towards the table, she sat next to her husband, rabid tears forming in her eyes.

Staring at her food, she suddenly didn't feel hungry at all.

"Wonder if Angel still up for that trip to the river...hopefully i won't end up swimming on it again"

Then it clicked on her mind. She was being unfair with Nat....but it still hurt...a little at the very least...

Ruthie folded her arms. "Sure.. ok." Admitting defeat, she kneeled down beside Gustice and tucked into a hotdog. After she finished she said "Ok, now that I'm out the stream, it's nice to meet everyone! Sorry about the cake... I'm Ruthie!" Inwardly she hoped that she and Gustice could be as close as Lilith and Nathaniel were... someday.

Wiping a few tears from her eyes, she took a long sip before answering.

"It's nothing. Papa" Her voice sounded really empty. Like she wasn't there at all. "I think you should go back with the others...you see, things can go quite out of control when you aren't there" She smilled, but kept facing forward. It wasn't worth it, she thought. It wasn't worth it making everyone worry...but it was obviously not working.

"Seriously" She finally turned, a warm smile pasted on her face "I'm fine!"

Blinking a few times, she finally noticed the attention wasn't on her anymore. Sighing happily, she dropped the empty can next to her and snuffled on her scarf. Maybe if she took a little nap, when she woke everything would be better. Maybe.

She didn't give it much thought and closed her eyes. It wasn't long before the voices faded away.

"Well, I just LOVE drinks, so I have an Esky/Cooler full. ^_^" He went over to his stuff, and dragged back a very large, blue and white Esky/cooler filled with Ice and Tons of cans, bottles and bowls filled with numerous drinks, most of anything anyone would want.

"I'd be a bit weary about the bowls though, me and Lilly have been experimenting, trying to create a new drink. ^_^"
