But, um, anyway.... SPRITES! That's what I'm supposed to be talking about. Right. Pfff, I'm working on another necessary sprite for the next R~C right now, and it's requiring FAR more hand-drawn sections than I wanted... T_T Oh well, that's what gives it my home-made flair. ^_^; You guys are what keeps me going. If I didn't have all of your awesome encouragement and the occasional piece of fan-art, I would have no incentive to keep all this up. ^__^

I want a lawyer. With Iris' hair you don't need to have her face if the hair is too hard to work with then Ema's hair but black is fine also. For the costume nice and loose not too much of a suit. Well the only thing left is that i want for the objection an open hand objectin like ami or franzy.

Thank you. I'm familiar with your work, and that's very high praise coming from you. The major problem for me is how time-consuming it is to create the human figure from scratch using a mouse. I guess I'm just too lazy and end up doing edits instead. ^_^; I have drawn completely original sprites before, and since you mention, I may have to get back into the habit again someday.

(I'm a tad new here, but I've posted in some places, but I doubt you've seen me around, lol
)First off, your sprites are wonderful. I'm relieved to hear that you still use Paint. I'm trying out GIMP Portable, which is actually working out for animations. But there's nothing like old fashioned MS Paint!
Second, do you mind if I take a closer look (with Paint) on your instructions on how you created your OC Ami? Hair is absolutely my worst as far as spriting goes, and I'd like to see how you did it close up (with the magnifying glass)
I promise to not plagerize (it's not like I could publish it; I don't have a photobucket account or anything); I just need a mini lesson on how to fix hair!

Please, for the love of God, don't ask to borrow Ami anymore. I tried to be really accommodating to people who wanted to use her for X comic and Y fanfic, but I'm starting to feel like I don't own her anymore, and I've put a lot of work into making her what she is. If you've already received my permission, I suppose I can't retract that, but I'm not taking further requests for her use. I know you guys are capable of coming up with your own cool characters. Good luck on all your projects.
My last big act for a while is to enter the OC contest. As we speak, I'm arranging Ami for the contest despite the fact that I don't entirely agree with all the standards set by CR. I've always wanted to enter this since I first joined, though, so I guess I may as well go through with it. Please wish me luck, and I return the favor for any of you who are also entering. I've seen members who've really got good characters put together, and I'll be honored to compete against them.
Finally, if you want to borrow forward-facing Phoenix, go right ahead! I've just given everyone carte blanche PROVIDED that you remember to credit me. I really did work hard to make him. If you want to borrow the Spice Gavins sprites, ask Doyles and Darz, and if you want to borrow Crystal, you ask MMF, etc. I don't own their characters, but credit for their sprites is appreciated.
And that's about it for now. If you ever see me doing work here again, it's because I've replayed the original trilogy and moved to a computer with Windows XP. If and when I get back, I'll set up a new framework for requests and we'll see how things go.
