You could also have the knife pop up from its sheethe instead of his hand moving up and down.

Ok, I'm going a bit overboard now, but nobody that i could see did the updated joe dark smiley, so.. um.. I did.
I also acted on the suggestions of him pulling the knife out sheathed, then unsheaths it, and also the sinister (or misunderstood) smile.
and one with eyes as well ( I also sped it up to make it smoother) : 
good? which do you prefer?
I think it works well, but maybe needs some more continuity (i.e. he resheaths the knife and returns it to behind his back)

I did it...I'm probably celebrating prematurely, but still, I actually did it. Anyways, you may recall back on Saturday I was talking about doing a smilie based off of this animation of Kyouya. Well...guess what, I did it.
This is one version without the wall...
...and one with the wall. Either something's messed up with these, or I think people are gonna like 'em...I could see either possiblity happening.
If you wanna improve them, then go ahead. Here's the Sprite Sheet I used:

Actually, I think the face looks better on that one compared to the one I previously did. Work on getting the hair flappy done (you can use my previous smilie/smilie sheet if you want), and we'll see what the others think.

Hmmmmmm...well, I'll re-do my version of that Kyouya smilie (with your changes) later tonight. It helps to have multiple versions for people to comment on.
