Nowhere in the series does it ever put "the" in front of a monster name alone. For RBY, it would be, "R.O.B. used LEER!". Now, the beta versions of english Red and Blue had "The" in front of trainers' titles ("The YOUNGSTER wants to fight!"), but was taken out since it made the Gym Leaders names a bit odd ("The BROCK wants to fight!").
I don't mind the fact that Leer doesn't do damage. It's still a cute idea.
If you like video game music, it might actually be worth your while.

Ah, I was thinking of trainer names... but I still had the intention of pissing someone off!
... though you weren't the specific one I had in mind, ironically...
Only problem is, I'm trying to get certain images, and transfer them properly and make them into JPEGs... but the program isn't working right (It's other peoples' images... perhaps that's the problem...?)

Have you seen how, on the UK site, all Pokémon names are in full caps? Fits your idea of fitting the series.
