Summary: After a long day in court, Phoenix and Maya return to the office. They find out some things there.
The time was 5:45pm. Wright and Co. Law Offices were closing. Phoenix Wright sat down in his chair.
“Oh man, what a day,” he sighed. Maya Fey walked into the room. She walked over to Phoenix.
“Nick, you look exhausted,” she told him.
“I am exhausted,” he replied. Her heart started beating.
“Um, Nick, I-I wanted to say…” she started to say. Nick looked at her.
“Yes, Maya?” Nick asked. His heart started to race now. Is it the moment he’s been longing for? He’d been nervous about telling her how he truly feels about her. Is she going to say her feelings before him?
“Erm…It’s n-nothing!” she finally said. She blushed.
‘No!’ he thought. He felt a little gloomy. But, little did he know what she was going to say. Little did he know her true feelings. He decided to come out with the truth.
“Maya, I love you so much,” he blurted out, “My heart…it aches for you. People only have one true love, right? You’re my true love, Maya.”
“N-N-N…” she tried to speak. She couldn’t. Her heart melted. She blushed more than ever. Then, before she new it, Nick kissed her. She couldn’t believe it. This is the moment she has been waiting for. She closed her eyes. She put her arms around his neck and he put his arms around her waist. She didn’t want it to end. Finally, after a short while, their lips separated.
“You’re a good kisser,” she told him. He grinned.
“You are too,” he responded. She undid his tie. He gave her a quizzical look. She winked at him. She took off her necklace. Then, they kissed again.
“How long, Nick?” she questioned, “How long have you felt this way?”
“Way too long,” he answered. He took his suit coat off. He gazed into her green eyes. They gave a soft look. Nick led Maya to the couch and sat down next to her. They began to make out right there. The moon shone brightly down upon them. The shades weren’t closed. It was way past closing time. But, they didn’t care. They were in love. Nick began to sing a song to Maya.
"And I love you, I’ll always love you," He sang, "There’s nothing I won’t do, to say these words to you. That you’re beautiful forever..."
"N-Nick..." Maya whispered. She felt like the luckiest girl in the world.
