It benefits us that this is up early, for I know there are a lot of east cost CR members who will be attending...HINT HINT...
I've big surprises for my fans at that convention. And this is Jaws reporting to frau and herr alike--I'm totally gonna be there.

And I got a cheap cosplay for you if you don't want to spend a crapload. How about you do a Pheobo? Grey sweater, black pants, and a blue hat--not that hard, nor expensive. And since its summer, sweats will run you cheap ^_^ (I r cosplaying genius) Hey, at least its a way for you to participate.
aww, that's fine, this dinner is still being concocted, but I just think it would be awesome for lawyers to raid that place, like Kingdom Hearts did two years ago :3

Anyway, I found out that my group not only goes to Portcon Maine and Anime Boston, but they also go to Otakon too! Woot! But alas, it needs to be cut off if I am to use the wig, unless I can find a heavy duty hairnet to keep my hair well in place while I wear the Gant Wig.
Then I'll need a purple wig of the same quality to do Redd. Unfortunately, doing Redd means i won't be able to do Gant or Will after I do Redd...
Anyone have a solution for both a heavy duty hairnet or a way to disguise my beard while playing as Redd/A fake beard for when I play Gant/Powers?
Anyway, I believe that's it. I hope to see you there, but there is no guarantee I will be able to make it unless Kirk (the owner of my game shop and the organizer for these trips) is offering Portcon and Otakon as a two-for-one (which I doubt).

Maybe, then! We'll have to see what finances look like. My grandmother lives in DC and I'll probably be living in Virginia, but I don't really think I'd want to commute on public transportation in costume or w/e so I'd need to get a hotel room...also I wouldn't know anybody but forum people to split with, since I'd just have moved to VA
I'll still think about it, though!

Thanks for the offer, but the owner of my game shop I go to provides transport and board to Portcon, Anime Boston, and Otakon to people who pay him with cash/credit card in person, and he gets the discount for everyone.

I'm not easy to shop for xD The glasses should be easy though. If you can find the frame for them, the lenses are really easy to do.

or you could put a layer of red transparent plastic under the lens, at least that's what my friend is planning to do XD I thought the pink shirt would be harder to find?

It may not seem like much, but without the suit and the buttons, I'm just cosplaying an old guy with a ridiculous haircut. I might even have to try making the buttons myself, which I'm not really looking forward to...

the gloves are ordinary black gloves, right? as for the suit I think you'd need to have them tailored or something, orange suit is not easy to find.
