The previous round had 27 players, of which 7 were Mafia. 9 Mafians would have made it a ratio of 1:2.
This round had 34 players. Even counting the extra faction, which I treated as a wild when drawing the faction sizes up, the just-under-1:2 ratio was mantained: the actual 1:2 would be 11 Mafians; too many, whilst 10 kept things nice and neat.
Maybe it should have been nine, but I also factored in the fact that the Mafia faction was simply too small in Round III - a fact that couldn't have been realised until the game was in progress.

"Let go" from the police department, Angel Starr has no special privileges or powers aside from her feminine wiles. Angel begins the game knowing the name of her lover, but not their identity or affiliation. Once a gameday, she can request her lover to perform a specific action for her.
- Date with the Devil - Angel demands that her lover spend all of today with her. Her lover's actions for the gameday are cancelled or blocked, and cannot make any further posts. If her lover already voted, their vote remains unchanged. If Angel uses this action during the day, she has an alibi to establish her innocence and cannot be put on trial. If she uses this action at night, her lover's life will be sacrificed for her own if someone attempts to kill her.
- They Called Me Fat - Angel raises the alarm on a targetted player, and her lover blocks their actions for the gameday, except for voting.
Note: "Angel Starr's Lover" is a pseudorole that grants no special privileges, but is still randomly assigned to someone in play. Note that someone with a role may receive Angel's attentions...
Actually, maybe the Lover needs some kind of motivation for keeping Angel around. Hmmm... porn is out of the question...

I'd say Angel's role is in itself a reason to keep them around. However, given that they can hinder as well as help a player, the role is probably at its best as a rogue turncoat role. It's also in-character. ^^

This loss isn't MY fault, though. I told them EVERYTHING they needed to win, dammit.
By screwing the Mafia, the Town eventually got screwed. Plus, von Karma was killed too early to be "successful," so HE was screwed.
"As a Wildcard, you win by causing the most havoc possible." Something like that was sent to me by YOU in my "role" PM.
