Which hand to you write with basically? I am just curious.

You can also say both, but I personally won't believe you.

I am right handed. :gant:

Right-handed, but I'm training to learn how to draw with my left hand because I'm deathly afraid of losing my right hand and not being able to draw anymore :shy:

Right handed, I try to do more stuff with my left hand though so it isn't there for nothing.

I always wanted to be left-handed though.

Whenever I learn new things, I use my left hand. However, I write with my right, which leads me to believe that I'm a leftie who was taught to write with my right hand. I've started practicing writing with my left hand in the hopes that my left handed writing will be better than my pathetic right handed writing. :P

Right hand:
pens
tapebands
dongles
shields
mice
clubs
akwardly heavy devices(anything two-handed starts here)

Left hand:
papers
covers
darts
knives
light arms
spears
keyboards
synthetic fists

It's not what the goggles do, it's what they can do when I don't have them. :yuusaku:

I can write exceptionally better than anyone I know. I don't write like a typewriter. My biggest problem write now is kanji. Primarily what goes in my left hand can also be used as a weapon, or so would be my habit. Even flashlights. My left arm is noticably different from my right. My right seems to have the control but my left seems to have more power. I'm more accurate with my left when throwing things. As of late, the difference is almost too small to notice. Arm wrestling provides sufficient evidence of this.

I write with both hands. I was born right-handed, but since my mom was born left-handed and her family forced her to learn to use her right hand, I asked her to teach me to use my left. Thus, right now, when it comes to writing, I'm ambidextrous.

My right hand still has more balance and control for the rest of the stuff I do though, except gaming. =p

All my life it has been my dream to be ambidextrous. Yet it was not to be. I am consigned to the fate of having one hand stronger than the other.

It's so... normal and boring!

Oh and it's my right hand.

I'm left handed. Hear me complain about it;

Everyone refuses to have me sit to the right of them, because I elbow them. Seriously, I'm an elbower. I don't even have to be writing or eating, it just happens. Heck, I remember being yelled at constantly since I was about three for it.

I also blame all and any lack of mathematical skills I have on being left handed, and therefore using the 'wrong' (artsy) side of my brain.

We also live about eight years shorter on average.

But, uh, on the plus side, we're apparently usually smarter? Ha.

Much smarter, and more artistic, and better memory :gant:

I tell people to not sit on my left side so I don't elbow them. With my family no one has to say anything, but in elementary school there were kids that would throw fits if I accidentally touched them with my elbow, so I made it a habit to tell teachers to put me on the left. Of course then there are people that whine and cry when I ask to sit on the left side because I'd prefer to not elbow them.

Though as people have gotten older, they aren't as spread out and messy (with arms and crap everywhere) like they were as little kids, so even if I am on certain people's right, they keep to themselves enough that elbowing is no longer a problem.

What I hate about being left handed is of course, how everything is geared toward right-hand usage. Like writing, it smudges all over my hand (same with drawing =P).

And scissors. Damn them XP Since kindergarten I've used those sharp pointy like knives scissors, because they're the only things I can use to cut properly and accurately for the most part. Cheapo scissors don't cut very well right-handed, most of them that I use anyway.

And I was really surprised when I learned many left handed people are taught to use their right hand (especially older folks). Its fairly common in my family. I'm left-handed, my aunt is left handed, my great-grandma was left handed (with all of the older people who had to learn to use their right hands instead, I was surprised she didn't), and my great-great grandma kept swearing she was left-handed on certain days (I think she could use both about the same).

My handwriting, period, is worse then my 9 year old cousin's writing (and even her early writing scribbles were better then mine). She thinks it looks like crap, but its like, near perfect, 10000x better then mine. I have chicken scratch deluxe level writing @_@

Left handed orginally.

I now type everything. D:

My handwriting looks like a three-year-old wrote in cursive.

Oh, and it's so small that you'd need a microscope to see it.

Left handed people cannot write, unless they kill themselves trying like my aunt did (know she has really good writing).

Writing was just not meant to be done with the opposite hand. And since its taught right handed, it looks different imitated with your left hand.

Youtube had to too, without being broken into parts. I had indeed saw a piece of it on Fuse (Music video channel) and now I've seen it all. I shall not risk changing the topic by talking about it beyond, I found it funny.

I notice I tend to do some things better with my right and others with my left, but writing is definitely a right-handed activity for me. I haven't tried writing with my left hand lately, but I'm pretty sure the contrast would be quite stark.

I'm a rightie.

Although, in swimming, people tend to have a left hand dominance... so I'm left-dominant for swimming purposes.

And I can decently control a ball and kick with my left foot.

Hmm... maybe later I'll scan a picture of my writing from both hands... It would be quite a contrast ;D

One of my students in my preschool child development class is left handed, and so she writes everything mirrored. Really: she starts on the right side and goes through all the letters backwards.

Recently she's been improving in writing left-to-right but her handwriting is still much poorer compared to the other kids :/

There's also a left-handed boy, but he doesn't have any problems. Actually, he's quite impressive for a 5-year-old.
