Seriously, and people call 2-D fighters button mashers. There was plenty of reasons to hate KH beyond "lolDisney", like Tetsuya Nomura's fetish for underaged boys in form-fitting clothes.

I just finished KH2 and can't wait for KH 358/2 days!
I'm sorry but that would be like saying you won't play Smash Bros. because there are [insert characters herePokemon I hate them!] in it!
That doesn't stop me! Kill the Pokemon! He he he!
And it takes more skill to play KH than just button mashing. The mashing only helps out sometimes. Especially when you are going for 100%!

I felt square made a great series, sure Chain of memories sucked after you beat it as both sora and riku but so what? I personally liked the disney twist. And button mashing? Ok in 2 yes, but in 1 it was thought out. In 1 magic actually did something! 2 was point a to point b without side places to go to unlike 1. and the combat was press x 3 times and sora does a long as move which was stupid.
and story hating? I found it to be intresting and sure number 2 was heavily conncted the Orgnization XIII but it still had a bit of coolness to it.
I guess its like a love hate thing. Either you love it or you hate it.

The story was rather confusing in 2 but I followed it to the end, just wish there wasn't so many plot holes while fighting the Organization. It's not Sora can get any answers now since there all dead!
I must admit though, there was a certain magic in Kingdom Hearts 1 that isn't in 2, but I love both a lot. I love the series, I love the characters, and I personally always loved almost anything Disney, so this is one of my fav games of all time!
Can't wait for Birth By Sleep and 358/2 days.

Never finished COM....got stuck at the Riku Clone on Riku's side and then lost it.
Can't wait for Birth By Sleep though...hopefully it's gonna rock.

Some people see this in a positive light, being able to experience the game with the use of different mediums but still-- To be able to experience the series in its entirety, you need to buy the handheld consoles if you haven't already. Haha, just after Squeenix brings back my confidence in them through The World Ends With You, the whole PSP - DS Kingdom Hearts series just destroys it xD;
My verdict is KH1 > KH2. Sorry, pretty graphics and pretty men aren't enough to win me over >:

It was more an intro than a tutorial, but it WAS very frustrating. First, "WHERE'S SORA!?!?" Then, afterwards, "WHAT ABOUT ROXAS!?!?"

But..That's my favorite of the KH games...
In fact, I'm playing CoM now...
I would that say that I like KHII better only because they used a few Disney movies I like more then the first one. Then again, I haven't seen too many Disney movies in my life. :pal: My favorite levels from KHII would have to the Black and White Steam-Boat level and all of it's school-of-rubber-hose cartoonyness and the Lion King level. I still want a Darkwing Duck appereance but that'll never happen...
Has anyone played the Kingdom Hearts TCG? I've seen it online but can't find the cards anywhere...

I like to play KH1 through from scratch every now and then. However, KH2 I've not touched since I beat it (Partly because the frickin' intro takes forever)
Also, I heard they were realeasing KH3 only for PS3, that would be my only reason to get that abomination of a console
