A custom character I've been working on made by mixing Edgeworth's face with Godot's body and a little recoloring along with an attorney badge. It's incomplete as of now, but I wanted see what you guys think. Godot

Quicky Profile:
His mentor was Robert Hammond and he works over at Grossberg & Co. Law Offices. Eric Longwood is more of your modern lawyer which means he's a complete and total dick with a cocky attitude [and that's were his name comes from...]. He doesn't give a damn if you're guilty or innocent he will defend you regardless because that's his job (and he wants money for it).

Not bad, you should change some poses, so he looks more original, but other then that...

I like how you extended Edgeworth's hair (he looks kinda cute like that!), and it's edited very well, but it's also pretty obvious that it's Edgey's face. If you change his skin tone or hair color, it might help him look more original.

LOL!

Thanks, Payne!

Thanks, guys Edgy

Yeah, I have been trying to come up with a few poses for his body... honestly, I don't know if his finger point pose is all that good right now. Payne

And I guess it never occurred to me to change his skin tone... lol, I figured that people would see that it's Edgy anyways. Maybe I'll try to figure out a different skin tone later after I've got all the poses I want done. Yuusaku

Anyways, here's a new sheet and I tried to fix his upset pose a bit (is it better or worse?)

I'd imagine Mr. Longwood as the AA equivalent of the typical "mercenary" character, the type of guy that would do anything in the courtroom for the right price. Even so much as manipulating evidence to make his client look good (or the prosecution look bad).

Hmm, that is what I'm going for, but when you put it that way I think maybe I should give him an evil gotee Damon

http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i35/A ... ngwood.png

I did a couple more poses and fixed some old ones for him... almost done... but I have homework I should be doing XD

Looks quite nice, Apeman. I just had a thought, though - would Mr. Longwood look better with a different hair color, perhaps dark brown instead of Edgeworth's raven grey?

Pretty good job, Apeman. The poses look nice, and the hair is a nice touch. The suit is a nice mix-and-match of colors, too. The backstory seems to be very... Prosecutor-ish, though.

It's good, but when I look at it, it seems a bit too similar to edgey. I thnk you should change the hair color also.

True, but that is what the game has built you up to think about prosecutors. That prosecutors are all immoral and don't have sense of justice in them, but I thought it would interesting if we could have a defense attorney with the same qualities. Like Robert Hammond for instance, he thought his client was guilty so he told him to pretend to be mentally unstable to win the case. It's not like there are real superheros and I wanted his personality to be different from the others. Unlike Phoenix who would never want to defend a guilty client, Eric Longwood is just doing his job and will take any chance and any method to to get the aquittal.

And yes, I've edited his hair a bit and came up with something I liked (that wouldn't take away the his vibe). I'll hopefully get to post it later tonight when I get home from school (photobucket blocked Yuusaku )

I changed his normal pose... BECAUSE I CAN.
I changed his collar to white... BECAUSE I CAN.
I changed his hair to match his vest... BECAUSE I CAN.
I tried to change his eye color to blue... I dunno if you can see it...

Feedback please Edgy

Okay, to be honest with you I know he's not all that original (yet?), but I just wanted make some more quick and easy edits to get full flush of poses (while still having time for homework) and it's not like I really give a damn about original compare to the look of things (though, maybe I should start?).

It look okay so far, but like croik said, the skin a hair color need to change, and I have an easy way to help you with that. there are alot of colors in the skin (Shading and such) and to color each one can be a pain. if you already know this technique, then disregarde this hint. used in MS Paint.

-take the pick color tool and pick a color you want to replace.
-take the pick color tool again and pick a color you want to replace the color you picked before, this time, click the Right Mouse Button, so that coloe will go in the other pallette.
-now take the Eraseing tool and erase the color you want to with the other. You'll have to click and hold the Right mouse button, not the left.
-rinse reapeat.

I hope this helps ya out, Godot

Nope, not really. Edgy

I already knew that and I already changed his hair a bit (I didn't want to change it to anything drastic, yet I know how I can change it more) and I just got too lazy and tired to do the skin (my bad)...

I was looking more along the lines as far as his body looks... possibly like a total obvious rip-off of Godot's and parts of Kaminogi's Yuusaku

Very nice sprites! I noticed the change in hair color, and it definitely helps. I recommend you work on skin tone next if you want to make him look more original, but I do agree that it's more important to get all the poses right before polishing the final result. Having a full spritesheet makes him feel more like he could have been a character from the games. Makes him more believable.

Ack...this actually looks more or less EXACTLY like the defense attorney I've been thinking of making for my game. Obviously, I've never actually gotten around to it, so I sort of deserve it.
Looks very nice for a combination of sprites. Good work.
I'm gone for so long, and the colors got all psychedelic! Woohoo!
