You get up early, so that you get the new AA game as soon as the shop stocking it opens. (I was soo Guilty of this last week, when AJ was released.)

You can think of more reasons to post here, despite this being the seventh page.

When you make a specific effort to have all the appropriate AA music in your head when doing an exam. Today I had to do one, and I hummed the defendant lobby theme (JFA, if anyone's interested) before going in, mentally played the new trial theme (JFA again) when I'd just started, then went on to JFA's cross-examination allegro theme. And towards the end, when I was running out of time, Hotline of Fate entered my head.

(I also had Daniel Day-Lewis' infamous 'I. Drink. Your. MILKSHAKE!' line from There Will Be Blood in my head, but that's beside the point.)

I did worse then that, I went to the store a whole day early to see if I could pick it up ahead of time or before anyone else did. They didn't have the game in stock yet but I got an extra free AJ Keychain for my effort.

You know you play too much Phoenix Wright when...

you have to keep a running tally of how many times you beaten each case.

you can picture what it would be like if you "seniorized" the PW/AJ casts and forced them to live in a retirement home.

I was actually sick for a couple of days last week, and I spent the entire time making AA Miis. (I like my Dahlia and Iris ones. They came out cute. I also like my Apollo one, but...he has no eyebrows. Oops.)

You name your iPod Godot, and your piano Klavier

Your friend has to shout SHUT UP at you when you start going on about Phoenix Wright

When your same friend can name a load of random characters, just because you'll talk about PW for hours

You decide to buy the games you borrowed, just for completion

Earlier, my other friend was really, really bored, so she started fiddling with her translucent reddish hairband, pulling it over her eyes. She then smiled in a way exactly like Godot (well, younger female brunette Godot, maybe).

Spoiler: 3-5..?
In my head, I call her Danni Armando. :edgy:

When something like THIS happens:

Spoiler: Saving Space
My English class was taking a test about different types of phrases today. It was kind of a weird test, seeing as we all decided on one answer and passed in one paper for the entire class. We were given a few hints beforehand, which I wrote down.
("Debbie denied taking the cookies. We had to identify what "taking the cookies" was.)

:ema: - Me
:eh?: :maya: :phoenix:- Random classmates

:phoenix: : "So everyone agrees? It's a participal phrase?
:eh?: :maya: : "Yup."
:phoenix: : "Okay, then let's write that down."
:ema: : " :holdit: This isn't a participal phrase. It's a gerund! It is a direct object. *reading paper* 'Determine if it is a direct object. If it is, it will come to the right of an action verb and will answer 'who' or 'what' after the verb.' She denied what? She denied taking the cookies!"
:eh?: :maya: :phoenix: : "..."
:eh?: : "Whoa..."

(I don't if they were more shocked by the fact that I completely changed their thinking or by the fact that I spoke up in the first place. I even slammed my hand on my desk. :larry2: )

Oh, I'm always doing that. I play it through Irish, too, while pretending to listen, counting how many times our teacher says "right" in a class (267 is her record), and maintaining my "A" in the class. THAT'S multi-tasking.

When you deduce that one of your friends will have a chinese course in the evening because he pulls out from his bag a sandwich. He follows your same courses (safe for chinese), that sandwich is big enough to make a whole lunch and you KNOW you don't have any courses in the evenings.

When the friend who can name random character names (Maya, Mia, Richard, Gavin [as in Klavier and Kristoph]) has got past the 'Phoenix Wright is just a phase, she'll be back to normal(ish) in a few weeks', and is now at 'Phoenix Wright is annoying' stage.

You have a Steel Samurai ringtone, and Klavier is your background.

You order the games (which you have already completed) off eBay, just so you can play them all again! (Have PW:AA, JFA is coming soon. Haven't ordered T&T yet)

Someone says 'manga', and you think OMG PHOENIX WRIGHT!

You have a long conversation about one of the games with a friend who doesn't even play games.

You make a friend want to *cough* download the games (NO DS NO DS!!!! Ok?) because first you quoted the games, then showed some pictures, then showed the games, then showed some songs, then made the friend scream on msn "SEND THE MUSIC"... And so on.

You hate one of your friends because he took one look at the box for one of the games and said "Never heard of it and it's probably bad" because of the japanese look. -_-

I'm guilty of about 90% of these. Every time I listen to a song I come up with an AA AMV for it, and I'm a total spoiler nazi (every time I see my friend I ask if she's finished playing T&T yet, and I've barred my sister from playing JFA and T&T until I buy AA).

YKYPTMPWW... you've made it your goal to find "Mr Wright". There's a story attached to this one.

I'm asexual. I'm pretty much devoid of hormones and I've never been sexually attracted to or so much romantically interested in anyone or anything in my life. A few months ago I was on a long drive with my mom, and she asked me for the thousandth time since I turned twelve if any boys I knew piqued my interest. I tried to explain to her my lack of sexual orientation and presented her with definitive evidence. When I was done she laughed and said:

"Oh sweetie, you aren't asexual. You just haven't found Mr Right."

I just about lost it.

Wot, you need a contest to have have a reason to make PW Tek Teks?

YKYPTMPWW you make Phoenix Wright Tek Teks anyway.

I've also realized that I'm peppering my speech with more court-related terms. I say "In any case"/"That being the case"/etc and "I object to X" way more than I used to. And even though I don't say it with the same inflection, I do say "Hold it" and "Take that" a lot.
