Theoretically, the limit for file size when sending mails is 10Mo (no matter which mailbox you're using). However, Gmail does not block larger mail : I've already transferred more than 15 Mo from gmail to gmail in one mail, so you can try and see the results
The best way, though, would be to put the file on your site, with a php script counting the number of clicks on the link : it's fast and easy to do, and you won't have to worry about filesize. I can host it on AAOnline until your server gets back online, if you want
