I also don't like Diego/Mia. Personal feelings about Diego aside, I just didn't see anything between them at all. With most of the other canon/heavily implied relationships, you at least see something between the characters that makes them work together. For Diego/Mia, you're basically just told they were together for a couple months.
It felt like their relationship was just thrown in there to give the players a reason to hate Dahlia more. But that's just me.

Although I like Gumshoe, I think the whole idea of him getting paired up with her in T&T would really take out the fun of the character, the whole point of Gumshoe is he is a character who fails at everything, giving him Maggey essentially takes all the bad stuff away, if he appeared in GS5 I'd rather he appeared as some homeless guy than as a happy guy with a family.
All GS4 pairings
To be honest I really don't think there were any pairings which were worth shipping in GS4, there were no real connections between any of the characters pairing-wise, people only support Klavier/apollo because they're desperate for the new arcs Phoenix/Edgeworth ( another pairing I'm against) and because Klavier teases Apollo the first time they meet. Most of the other GS4 pairings are only really picked due to appearances such as Ema/klavier or Ema/Kristoph. Thats enough of that rant.

X I liked it, i really did! Then i read a fanfic (a very graphic one) and since then thinking about it makes me feel faintly nausious + Phoenix is not gay! Oh and one more thing! As i am married to Edgeworth (see my avatar) that would be cheating! lol [Don't worry i'm not mad, i do realise he's a fictional charecter therefor i can't marry him ] X Iris REALLY annoyed me thoughout the final case and i prefer X anyhow. that's all my reasoning lol X Anyone who has played GS4 will undersdtand exactly why i think that pairing is just plain wrong. This lack of threat is displayed by yaoi fangirls who raise their hackles when ANY character they have a schoolgirl crush on ends up with another woman.

Plus, Iris annoys me for some reason. I can't put my finger on it, but I don't like her. O_O Plus, they really didn't get to know each other well. Poor Phoenix was just lovesick I think. And the fact that he and Dahlia technically only met what, twice? So, no. / - Maya's so immature, that I can't imagine her being in a relationship with ANYONE. I don't mind Maya as a character, but I can't see her as any sort of romantic interest. If she's still in love with the Phoenix she knew, that person no longer exists. (And Phoenix probably didn't get to know the real Iris either, given the circumstances of their relationship and all). Friendship could work, but they'd have to pretty much relearn everything about each other and let go of their prior expectations and assumptions about each other in order to have a romantic relationship. - Yeah, I just can't get over the obvious creepiness with ages here. Namely, Regina is 16. Ben is in his thirties. And yeah, I know, I know, it's Trilo who proposed (which is disturbing enough by itself), but this isn't Greg the Bunny. Puppets aren't sentient and can't act of their own free will; it's obviously Ben guiding all of Trilo's actions along the way. /

x If they hadn't grown up together, I could see it. But since they did, I just see it as siblings more than anything. x I can see why many people like this pairing; I mean, there's hints all over the games. But I only see it one-sided on Maya's part. x Um... I don't know why people like this one at all. There's nothing that hints to a relationship between these two. That's about it.
