I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack~
I made it home from Captivate '08 early this morning, and it was an absolute blast. I got to meet all sorts of awesome industry people, saw and played some great games, and didn't spend a dime the whole time! I can't say how grateful I am to Capcom for inviting me into such a private and awesome event. Maybe I sound like a fangirl, but it was a wonderful experience, and I can't wait to share all of it with you guys.
Of course, I can't do that yet. As part of the event, we were all required to sign forms stating we wouldn't discuss anything we saw and did until June 3rd. At that point I'll be able to post my full write up of the event (there really isn't any Ace Attorney news to tell, but I did pick up a few interesting tidbits). Until then, I'll be updating the cosplay page with our North event pictures, and fielding the remaining OC contest entries.
The deadline for the contest, btw, is not tonight at midnight, but the END of June 1st. You must have your entry in by the end of Sunday night. It's coming down to the wire!
Because I've been gone so much and haven't been around to send entries to the judges, we may have to postpone open judging by a tiiiiny bit, but we'll see. Check back here for updates.

I think it has more to do with making sure all the different press groups get the chance to make their announcements at once. We got to see some great stuff, and it wouldn't be fair if one site got all their stuff up the day after the event while others needed more time to get back to their offices and couldn't post their reports until later. Or something like that, I'm not entirely sure.
In any case, it's only until Tuesday~

This is what it must feel like to be on drugs and experiencing the high highs, and then coming down off of that. Good lord did they spoil us.
Oh and I imagine not actually being able to talk about all the cool stuff there must suck (as it does for me) while you just have to sit on it and wait till Tuesday.

Awe I'm jealous about you and Fable 2 as it's probably the thing I'm looking forward the most to right now (after Street Fighter 4) As for F2's release date it's set for Holiday 2008 now.

I resent that! XD. We may have Amstrad to your Microsoft but we aren't in the dark ages you know. We even have our own *cough*space programme*cough*. Don't worry, I should think Cambridge (I assume the university?) has Internet, even if it is in East Anglia. If they don't, prepare for a long tractor ride. Or call them farmers till they submit.
