Alright, my next cosplay event will be Otakon (Aug. 8th-10th) so I've got a couple of months to plan and execute my cosplays. I'll have the great craft expertise of my father on my side but I would like your imput.

Friday I'll be going as Ema, and I'm already done with that one, as I've used it twice before.

On Saturday, I'll be cosplaying... Mr. Hat. A friend of mine will be going as Trucy so I thought it would be fun to follow her around! :edgy: There's a problem though, Mr. Hat is made of wood. Anyone got any suggestions for a successful cosplay?

Sunday I'll be going as genderbent Klavier, which will be pretty much the same except with a skirt, sandals and a vest instead of a jacket. What I'm concerned with is the "G" necklace. I got an awesome chain that would work perfectly, but what should I make the G of? I have some sculpey, which I guess works, but anyone with a better suggestion...

Also, while I'm pretty blond-ish, my hair is much darker than Klavier's. What's the best wig I could use? (I ain't dying, if you're gonna suggest that).

A friend of mine will be cosplaying genderbent Apollo, which, like Klavier, will be pretty much the same apart from a skirt and sandals. I bought a wood bangle to make the bracelet from- would it be better to carve it? Burn it? And what kind of finish should I use to give it the right color?

Like I said, my dad will be helping out a lot. I just want to know if there's anything you might want to add :minuki:

Cardboard cylinder helmet for mr.hat :D

You can build ontop of your bracelet with paperclay, and then carve away from that while its still wet. Its what ive been doing on a bracelet im making.

We used posterboard and pain. ...er, paint. Lots and lots of paint.
