You would become affiliated with the team you are meant to be with.
That means if you sided mafia and got a town special you would be town and become an inside spy in the mafia.

You could use the old mafia alliance to get info for the town direct from your old team.

No, your affiliation shouldn't change at all. If investigated, you should still show up as your original chosen affiliation, even if you have a "Townie" role, unless you have Evidence modifying that appearance...?

I would think forced affiliations are a no-no, especially after Round V...

Depends how they're handled. Regardless, the Amnesiac evidence was built on that premise, so it's too late to change it now.

You may notice that the knock-on effect of this arrangement is that wild cards become too dangerous to trust but too precious to kill as well, meaning the scenarios of Round V become unproductive, which should help to keep things balanced. We'll see how it goes.

(There's also the fact that investigations aren't worth shit this round, too. :P)

I think what he means is that it depends on how the person GMing would handle a situation like that.
