So I was talking with a friend today about what if Phoenix Wright was in Marvel vs. Capcom. Considering the game itself was created by Capcom, duh.
Then I thought if Phoenix and co. were in a fighting game, what moves would they have?
Phoenix Wright = chuck desks and yells "OBJECTION!" while throwing random peices of evidence at enemies.
Franziska von Karma= Her whip of course. Duh.
Manfred von Karma = Taser! And his yells could create a sonic boom
Miles Edgeworth = Uh...dunno. Magical flying cravats of death?
Godot = Chucks cups of coffee at his opponents and can shoot LAZER BEAMZ!!11one from his visor like Cyclops
It doesn't just have to be for the lawyers. It could be for the other characters as well.
So what are your ideas? XD

Matt = Would be in a tag team with Shelly and would switch in and out between "gentle" Matt (who lures you into a sense of false security with his naive nature) and "psycho" Matt (who dons the Nickel Samurai costume and berserk on your ass)
Shelly = Would have raw fighting skills rivaling those of Spider-Man and Bison. He could choke people, snipe them from great distances, throw radios that explode in their faces, etc.
Will Powers = He would don the Steel Samurai outfit and use the mighty Samurai Spear to bring the bad guy to justice
Redd White = He would only be able to punch people and cause temporary blindness by flashing his bling

The only problem with a PW fighting game is that since most of the characters aren't "fighters" the tendency would be to give them a lot of long range and/or gimmicky moves. FORGET THAT! I want to see Phoenix duke it out like a real brawler. Give him the "Door Breaker Shoulder Slam!" The Lotta Hart Pimp Smack! Edgeworth's "I'm Cutting Your Pay!" jab to the throat!
And then Mia suffocates you in her cleavage.
I wish I was a better free-drawer, I'd totally do Guilty Gear style PW sprites XD

If anything, Gumshoe should be almost completely inept - but have ridiculously high stamina. Throw everything you have at him, your specials, your combos, your supers, he'll just take it and barely register on his health bar.

Obviously he'd have a high-powered OBJECTION! move, complete with speedline background and all that. But I'd also like to see him with one of those moves that zips across the screen a la Blanka's cannon ball or Chun Li's spinning bird kick--except that he would be riding his bicycle really fast because he's late to court or some such.
His hold move immobilizes opponents in psyche-locks.
And he parries with his badge.
