I procrastinated and didn't fill out the form in time for the contest, so I'm posting her here. Please tell me what you think(but no harsh words) that way I can improve her for next year's contest .







Edit: Ok, so here's a pic of Jamie and Miles. I'm actually really happy with how Miles came out (then again, I did use one of the actual pictures of him, you know the one) and pretty happy with Jamie, though her arms and hands look weird, but all in all I'm proud of it

Character's Name: Jamie Edgeworth
Age: 15(in between AA and JFA)
Occupation: Student

Brief Physical Description: Average height and weight, long silver hair and blue eyes. Usually always where jeans and some sort of fitted designer t-shirt that are usually black.
Brief Personality Description: When first met (In March after Maya has gone back to Kurain and Miles disappeared), she seems rather reclusive and shy, but then again aren’t all people who are in detention and accused of murder? After she proved innocent, her true personality really begins to show. She's a fun loving girl who loves to tease the people she cares about, she hates serious situations and always tries to lighten the mood, but knows when to be serious(in court). Phoenix gives her the nickname 'butter fingers' because she's always tripping and dropping things and has a habbit of spacing out.

Connection to canon characters (if applicable): Jamie’s dad and Miles’ dad were brothers, making them cousins. Her best friend is Ema Skye(whom she goes to school with) and she has become good friends with Dick Gumshoe.

Brief Background: Her parents were killed when she was ten; she was the only witness to the murder, but subconsciously blocked out the memory.

Since Miles was her only close relative, so she went to live with him (he was 20 at the time and had just done his first trial against Mia Fey). She spent a lot of time at the prosecutor’s office and precinct, and so got to know Dick Gumshoe and Lana Skye; she also ended up going to the same school as Ema Skye, who is a year older than her, but they became good friends.

After Miles disappeared, she went to live with an old friend of her parents (name not decided yet). During that time she was accused of murdering and student a year older than her. She had watched all of Miles' trials against Phoenix and knew he'd be able to help her, and he did. Detective Gumshoe asked Phoenix if he could look after Jamie when ever he was too busy with a case; in the end Jamie lived with Phoenix for almost 4 months (till June) when Jamie decided to go to Europe to look for her cousin, that way she could go back to living with him and not be a burden to Phoenix.

Thanks. I think I have one, but it's really old so it's pretty bad. I only have a few pics of her that I really like, but at the moment my printer/scanner isn't working so that's the only pic of her I have on my computer:sadshoe:

Actually I got it to work this after noon. The chord was un-plugged This picture isn't as good as the other(I just realized her head was huge) and I'm not good at shading AT ALL, but I had originally drawn it on lined paper, so if I hadn't colored it there'd be blue lines in her hair and body. I'm trying to do a better one that I can look at and really be proud of

A really nice character concept, and wonderful drawings. I myself have a hard time with head and body proportions, so don't worry.

Ok, this should be the last pic for a while. I hadn't drawn in FOREVER so today I kinda went crazy. It really annoys me how I don't notice all the problems with the picture until after I color and scan it*coughheadcough* Not too mention I forgot to erase some pencil lines before I colored and her feet look rediculous(i hate drawing feet almost as much as I hate drawing hands) but I'm still happy with it, despite the fact her head is too big, I think her face came out really nicely.

Oh yah, in case you can't read my crappy hand-writting (especially the bottom half) it says 'Do not disturb, already disturbed.' I thought that'd be funny for her considering she witnessed her parent's murder and found the dead body of the guy she had a crush on.
