The pottery guy from Kokoro Odoru in Ouendan 1 plays a major role in the Go My Way stage.
The cat owned by the Linda Linda ramen guy in Ouendan 1 and the dog from Highway Star in EBA make cameos in the tutorial stage.
The racehorse from Guts Da Ze in Ouendan 1 makes a cameo in one of the stages, I can't remember which.
The guy from Koi No Dance Site and EBA's Makes No Difference also makes a cameo in Bang! Bang! Bakansu. The bandit from Guts Da Ze appears in the same stage.
There's probably a few more I've missed.
Also, normal mode is easier than normal in Ouendan 1, while hard is BATSHIT INSANE. I don't even want to get to the Cheer Girls for fear of being unable to resist the urge to smash my DS against hard surfaces.

It's the I Wanna be a Pop Star stage, but I'd say that's just another typical horse, not the one from Guts Da Ze.
Other cameos I found:
The ramen guy and his cat appear in GLAMOROUS SKY bad ending (not the failing scene).
The news announcer and pottery man also appear in various multiplayer stages.

AWESOME.
I actually have an idea for EBA2.
The final stages should be this three part epic ending.
The crisis? Two planet eating monsters have come to devour earth and all it's inhabitants. They work together, eating away at both end of the planet and throwing away the core (like an apple).
So? The two agencies need to put aside their differences. They need to work together to knockout this giant menace.
Stage one - "Kryptonite" - Three Doors Down - The two crews go to Tokyo to attack the first one. The second crew starts the assault, but the first crew needs to give them some fighting spirit.
Stage two - "Holdin' Out for a Hero" Bonnie Tayler - The second crew returns the favor.
Stage three - "Don't Stop Me Now" - Queen - The monsters have fused as one. Time to take the battle to outer space. The crews launch transforming mechs piloted by rock 'n' roll. The two leaders to a rock opera duet, working together so that a huge earthdoken can power up the transformed mech, and wipe out the menace once and for all.

Not really. I would say piloted by the Commanders or something, but mech powered by rock 'n' roll is just so much cooler.

It would make Jumpin' Jack Flash would bow to the epicness of the stages.
