That got Bella angry; a rare occurrence. She grabbed Zelda by the shoulders. "Zelda. Listen to me. You are beautiful. You have got to realize that. You have so much more than I could ever have. Zelda looked down. She hadn't said anything about herself, but she and Bella both knew what she thought about herself. She looked back up at Bella. "I'm not perfect. Far from it. But that's not the point." She smiled. "And I know what you mean, I really do. But that doesn't mean you have to shut yourself out from the people you love." She sat down on the couch. "And don't start telling me you don't love anyone. I know you. You hate admitting it, but you have feelings, Bella. Just don't bottle them up so much or you'll hurt yourself." Sugawa listned and cleaned in silence as Bella and Zelda bickered. He was listening intently the whole time but was midly surprised as he had not noticed Ivan sleeping there.

"Hmm....A party for Bella....Sounds nice. Huh? Drive you? Okay Zelda...Let me get my car out of the garage..."

Sugawa looked around for his keys and started to walk towards the garage and went to his Black Ford Escape and turned it on and started to wait for Zelda to come.

Richard Monohan sat in his office, lit with a single desk lamp, with a deck of cards. He was playing a game of solitaire. As he set down a card with a round hole right in the center, he heard a knock on the door. Ah... my 'visitor' is here, and right on time... He stood up and went to open the door. "You must be Ivan. Sugawa sped out the garage like a a madman but somehow stayed on the speed limit...It only took Sugawa 4 minutes to get to the grocery store. Sugawa killed the engine and let Zelda catch her breath.

"You okay still? I dont remember if I told you but I like to drive pretty fast...Heh...So, what are we going to pick up for Bella's Birthday?"

Zelda sat for a moment to stop shaking. "Some cake ingredients, hopefully a present or two with the money I've got..." She patted her front pocket. "I've only got $40, so I'm gonna make it count."

"This man here," responded the man, after making sure the door was closed. "Donald Haledjian. He's my rival, you see, and he's bested me at my own game. If he doesn't die, tomorrow night, I'll lose big time." He handed him the photo, a hotel address, and a roll of cash. "That's 25% of your pay. You'll get 25% when we meet at the hotel, and the other 50% after you've completed the job." He grinned. "I'll meet you in the lobby at 9:00, no later."

Sugawa knew Zelda sometimes would lose her eyesight at times and did not want her to to walk around blind. That would eventually make Sugawa feel bad....

He went home. He needed a uniform. Maybe Zelda, or maybe Sugawa knew where it is. He called Zelda. "Do you know where Uncle's bellboy uniform is? I'm going to need it for my job."
