Sahwit - I don't think it'd be fair to comment on my own character, not that there is much to go on yet.
Larry - I don't think it'd be fair to comment on my own character.
Judge - With as much respect as I can possibly muster, And I feel really bad for saying this because it's kinda mean...but the judge sounds really really consitpated. Which I guess is a little fitting because he sounds kinda old some of the time, it seems to shift between constipated to old, to constipated and old...Jeez I feel like a bad person saying that.
Payne - Well, um...not really...as high pitched as I'd imagine him to be really, I imagined him to have a grating annoying voice in normal speaking. Also, the recording was a bit quiet.
Mia - sounds to me like one of the best VA's on this project
Narrator: Ummm, british, which is cool but needs to be a bit louder.
Regarding Larry's voice (Which I'm the VA for of course) Don't worry, he's not going to sound as whiny in the other cases, I can understand what you mean by Shaggy, under normal circumstances I'd agree as I kinda see him as a hippie stoner/beach bum kinda guy too, but even Shaggy could sound really whiny when stressed. In future cases he'll sound much less whiny (Unless of course he's whining)
Reguarding Sahwit, it'll be interesting to see which voice take they used for him, I sent in two different versions for after he's starting to get panicked.

Hakuro: What I think we'd need to hear is a part where Payne is losing it. In that case, we'd probably hear the "ear bleed" that Zeon Twilight mentioned. Personally, though, I think it sounds great.

OK...Phoenix sounds good, again, but...when he raises his first Objection at Sahwit...you don't sound, I dunno...triumphant enough. It sounds more like you're reading the autopsy report than it does like you're pointing out the contradiction therein. I'd think you'd be a bit more...like I said, triumphant.
Sahwit is very good, no problems there. Same for Mia; much clearer now. Larry's also good.
Judge...OK, last time you sounded about to die. Now you sound constipated and about to die.
Payne......you sound like someone put the Snape voice from the Potter Puppet Pals into a blender. A rusty blender.

...actually, I think I'll send in for a bunch of characters at once. Or I'll post the clips and see what other people think. But certainly Payne.
EDIT: Did Payne and the Judge...if only my mic didn't suck so much, but...I'll have them up soon.
EDIT 2: I managed to get rid of most of the distortion, but there's only so much I can do...the Judge yelling the word Guilty kept doing that every time... Anyway: Payne and The Judge.
EDIT 3: Because I realize this might be taken the wrong way: This is NOT an audition for the Judge. I know he's not open, and I'm not trying to steal anyone's role. I just wanted to throw out something that sounded a little closer to what I felt he should sound like; Rev is free to ignore it.

Phoenix sounds great, a little deeper than I thought, but still great.
Sahwit and Larry sound good, a little whiny on Larry, but he is whiny here, so good job.
Payne...that's already been discussed. He was too quiet.
That's all well and good but...the Judge...wow, I'm with Hakuro de Killer on that one. I tried out for the Judge and I know for a fact it was better. Heck...my sister could do a better judge. It sounds kind of off, and I'm sure Rav is better than his Judge shows...but we are in dire need of a Judge change.
I just got myself a shiny new microphone about a week ago, and I decided to redo all my auditions and tihs time I'm putting them on the thread here to see what you all think. Try to to be too harsh.
They're not in order of my best ones or anything, but let me know what you think. Haha, note that my Judge has a hint of Sean Connery in him, and I don't know why. I just always read him with a hint of Connery. Any advice as well would be appreciated, PM me or something. Wellington

Also: mike_sandbag...I only listened to a couple, but...von Karma seems like he'd be a bit more...gravelly, and German, I guess. And Godot...seems way too 'slick 'n quiet' for the character, especially as it makes his Objection! at the end stand out as completely...well, OFF.

As for the von Karma, thanks Haibara~n! I can try to work on my Meekins and make him more energetic, because you're absolutely right. Sometimes he's so energetic, it's almots annoying. :P Also, theshim, as for von Karma sounding more gravelly, you're probably right, and sometimes when I read the game aloud, I make him more gravelly. :) As for more German though, I don't know that he should have much of a German accent. I mean, I know he's German, but neither his nor Franziska's OBJECTIONS sound German at all. :S After prosecuting in America for so many, many years, he probably doesn't speak with too much German, but I dunno. Klavier on the other hand, is drowning in German phrases. I wonder what he'd sound like.:S If people think I should try to add a little German to my Manfred, I suppose I could try, although I've never done much of a German accent before, so it'd be new. And Godot's OBJECTION stands out big time, I know. :( But he just seems like he'd talk slick and cool to me. :P Heh, I espcially liked my 'Trite' phrase. :) Any other advice on any of my voices? :)
