"God, you're so cute when you do that." He said quietly. It was more of a compliment than a tease. Reaching over, Kristoph lovingly ruffled Klavier's hair.
"You did a great job driving." The older blonde reassured, knowing Klavier was still nervous about that.

He looked down at the nearly-empty plates, realizing how full he actually was. Like the good, kind brother he was, Klavier stood up, alone, absentmindedly throwing a credit card down onto the table as payment.
Klavier stood up and shrugged on his jacket. It was winter, after all; he was cold. He walked outside, stood under the awning, and admired the beautiful Manhattan skyline. He hadn't seen it before--he'd been too busy trying not to die--but now he could appreciate the delicate blanket of snow covering the city.
"Kristoph," he breathed, dimly aware of his brother behind him. "...This is incredible."

He signaled a taxi--no way in hell was he driving again--and got in, patting the seat next to him.
Handing the taxi's driver a slip of paper, Klavier looked at Kristoph and grinned. "C'mon, you," he teased. "Close your eyes. This...is a surprise!"

He leaned forward, poking the piece of paper near the taxi driver. "We are going there, right?" He was, after all, nervous. He'd never been in the City before; for all he knew, the two of them could be in a taxi to Florida.
Satisfied at the taxi driver's impatient nod, Klavier leaned back in his seat, taking Kristoph's hand in his, unable to stop the goofy smile from forming on his face.

"If anyone knows romance... it's Klavier Gavin." Kristoph said silkily, remembering Klavier's great cover of "Wonder Wall".

Holding Kristoph's hand, Klavier stood at the perfect place: the entrance to Central Park. Still grinning like a schoolchild, he led Kristoph inside, careful to make sure his still-blind brother didn't trip.

He bent down, still holding onto Kristoph's hand, and dug through the snow. He re-emerged a moment later, something unknown to Kristoph held in his previously-free hand.
Still guiding Kristoph, Klavier Gavin looked for a bench, or, at the very least, a nice piece of grass. The park seemed to be nearly empty.

Klavier spun Kristoph around slightly, letting his brother see the trees of Central Park, their tops lightly dusted with snow. Manhattan was visible, but only faintly; Klavier had picked a spot in near total isolation.
As his brother stared in wonder, Klavier reached his hands around his brother's waist, presenting Kristoph with the object he'd dug out of the snow:
A single, long-stemmed, red rose.
With Kristoph's back still facing his, Klavier recited:
"To love a person is to learn the song
That is in their heart,
And to sing it to them,
When they have forgotten."
Slowly, Klavier spun his brother around, the younger Gavin's brother's smile lighting up Central Park.
"This is for you, Kristoph."
"And I'd give up forever to touch you
Cause I know that you feel me somehow
You're the closest to heaven that I'll ever be
And I don't want to go home right now
And all I can taste is this moment
And all I can breathe is your life

Kristoph was overwhelmed. All of it... it was too much. He couldn't feel anything but love. Still clutching the rose, he threw his arms around Klavier. Words did not begin to describe what he was feeling. He buried his face in Klavier's well-built shoulders and chest.

Kristoph could only nod. The snow fell lightly, just for them. A few flakes fell on Klavier's hair and it only added to his angelic manner.

Klavier looked up at his brother, noting how beautiful Kristoph looked in the winter. His brother's cheeks were tinged pink with the cold, the light snow dusting his blond hair and his brother's shoulders.
Still buried in his brother's arms, Klavier gently wrapped his hands around Kristoph's waist, electricity shooting up from where his hands met his brother's body.
"Kristoph Gavin," he said, the cold air turning his words to wator vapor in the air, "...Thank you."

Honestly, he didn't know what to say. He smiled as he leaned his forward head down to rest it on Klavier's. His young lover's child-like happiness radiated. It was clear, each of them was in a whole new world.
