Anyone else wish they would get to the 1st court quicker?

I'd like it if all you did prior to the 1st trial was at most talk to your client and look over the crime scene briefly (& I guess talk to the Detective there). You shouldn't know the case very well by the 1st court IMO. And maybe cutting the 1st investigation short would make the cases be able to have 3 courts again.

Yeah, I kinda wish that investigation was shorter. But then again, I kinda don't. I like Maya going off about stuff she sees.

But maturely, I agree that we can't throw away the first investigation. It leads up to the trial.
Anyway, even though they had 3 days, the AA cases were shorter.

Same here. I really don't like investigation. I always get stuck for ages on something small >.<
I would keep the structure the same though.
The lack of investigation at the start would leave me wanting more introduction to the case.
I'm not going to be here very often anymore.

Should they ever pull a 2-4 on us ever again? No.
Investigation is what gives us a lot of the character development, gives us some of the great jokes (Depending on what you think of stepladder...), allows us to understand most of the case, and just sets the scene.
That's why the first cases aren't as enjoyable as the rest. If they gave us a tutorial investigation with the tutorial case, I'd be a lot happier.
But honestly, 2-4 had a HUGE first investigation. It spanned 2 days, and I was left waiting for the first court-room session. Edgeworth cameos should be kept until later days. Only in that case though.
EDIT: And if the MASON System comes back, expect more investigation.

I like being able to puzzle things out in court, but exposition is so important to these cases. I like having the time to set things up properly.
