The second Tales game was Abyss which I did like and enjoy. (Guy~~<3333 ) but the story got a little annoying at times with the running on diolouge about the "The Seventh Fonon The Seventh Fonon The Seventh Fonon The Seventh Fonon..." >.> Though I gotta admit, in Symphonia it was the same thing with "The Chosen" and "Half Elves"...
As for the news---omg Vesperia looked awesome. I can't wait! And zomg, Abyss anime screens. =O (My friend is gonna freak when she sees that pic of Jade. xD )
...And still no news on the rumor'd other half of the TOS OVA'S.... =/ Dammit, I wanna see more Tetheallla and more Zelos! and Regal! and...some Sheelos and GenisPresea if provided! =3 )

I've played ToA and it was quite fun, though my navigational skills suck so many points during the more long and traveling parts of the game I had a tendency to get lost for hours until my sister helped me. Thank god for jumping, it was my savior. Also, the endless skits kind of irked me after awhile, it felt like they were spoon-feeding you information you just heard in a conversation. I may be navigational impaired but I can still remember where we are going! (Most of the time.)
I'm playing ToS right now but I've already seen the ending and watched parts of it while my sister played, though I'm still unknowing of about half of the storyline. It's a bit boring near the beginning but I've heard it get's a lot more interesting as the game progresses. Plus, further in the game = moar Zelos. And moar Zelos = moar lulz + moar free stuff. And free stuff is ALWAYS a bonus.
One thing I've noticed about Tales games is that they're funny but sometimes they can get really dramatic and/or cheesy and/or improbable. I'm one of those people that in the middle of a dramatic scene in a movie or game will say "But shouldn't he have died from that fall?" and such, and then everyone tells me to shut up. But my point is that there are some...improbable things that I've always wondered about the Tales games. First off- I know that in ToA there was the whole dawn age schpiel so they don't know about a lot of older technology, but I see no excuse for the fact that in ToS they have individually powered flying thingies but no cell phones/handheld communication. It seems odd that you can feel free to fly across the countryside in your own sweetass jet, but god forbid you need to call 911.
Also, note that Legretta has guns in ToA- so why do I have to use a sword? :[ I wanna go pewpewpew but it seems that only bad guys are allowed to have fancy pants weapons, so I am stuck with beating my enemies over the head with a stick/stuffed doll. Oh and this is a completely unrelated topic change but I want Dist's chair. How neat would it be to fly around in a floating chair?! Pretty sweet.
Okay, enough of my ramblings. If any of you actually read all of that, I commend you. If half of it makes no sense, it's probably because I'm really tired and should be going to sleep.
