Here in the US, the last episode was "The Day of Black Sun Part 2: The Eclipse". There are still ten more episodes to be released officially. They are:
*The Western Air Temple
*The Firebending Masters
*The Boiling Rock (a two-episode movie)
*=these were released in other countries, probably available online, but have yet to be released in the US
The Southern Raiders
The Ember Island Players
Sozin's Comet (the two-hour, four-episode series finale)

In which case, your prediction is quite possible.Hmm... Never heard of that one. The big question, though, is... Does Nickelodeon WANT to continue "Avatar"? The show is not even a regular on the channel (While they pad out the schedule with 3+ hours of Spongebob, a big criticism of mine) And I can count the amount of ads with my hand. THEY own the property, and THEY say whether or not new episodes can be made. Sadly to say, I hazard to guess the balance is on "no".
Samurai Jack was a tearjerker there.
Anyway, Nickelodeon already has a history of denying cartoons of an actual ending (see the infamous "Angry Beavers" incident) in its belief that cartoons should feel like they last forever. Avatar's been different since the beginning, and I hope we get an actual ending, and not a cliffhanger... [shudders at the mere thought]

I love Avatar. A while ago, they did a marathon on Nick, and I decided to watch the first episode for the heck of it. I wound up watching the entire marathon. (And it was a really long one, too.) Though to be honest, I haven't watched it in a while. I have cable or whatever (I can't remember), but it's been acting weird.
I'm also seriously considering cosplaying Toph at PortCon next year. It may not be an anime, but I really don't care.
It's good to know that there are other fans on CR. (I always feel a little weird telling people that I watch a "children's show".)

I got "converted" to Zutarianism a few weeks ago. I gotta say, I'm not sure that it actually WILL happen, (although I've seen lots of evidence videos) I love the IDEA of Zutara. That would be, like, the best pairing EVER!!!
