So yes. I am probably going as an Objection sign or Maya. Or maybe both.

I need some tips on what sort of fabric I should use when making her outfit S:

I'm thinking cotton, but I'm not sure! As for the magatama, I have NO CLUE. I have until early September for this.

For the Objection sign, I plan on using two big pieces of cardboard and then using the rasterbator (http://homokaasu.org/rasterbator/) on the Objection image. I'll probably use wood glue and/or tape to get it on. Then I'll poke holes in it and use some fabric or rope to tie them together so I can wear it. What do y'all think? :hyde:

I used white sculpey, then painted.
And if you want it to be shiny, you can use (sculpey) glaze.

I heard of someone who carved it out of a soap bar.

Um, for my cosplay, I just used cotton. Comfy, looks good, yeah.
I didn't actually check what it was until after I bought it (-shot-). I just went around the fabric store seeing what was the right texture, thickness, color, etc.

Here's a PNG of the Objection logo. :3

There IS colored Sculpey. That is what I used to make Phoenix's magatama.

I used gold Sculpey, it seems to be working fine.
Broadcloth for the outfit, it's pretty easy to put together from Halloween costume Asian-styled patterns.
