You'll need to cut it, though. I think platinum grey is good, but if it's too dark you could always order the silver-white and dye it yourself.
But I guess if you need this in 2 days you've got a dilemma XD;
...you could go to a thrift shop or whatever (like, a goodwill or an Arc's...I'm not really sure of the names XD; ) and look for wigs. Just look for a lightish one that looks like the right length and dye it with sharpies and then hairspray it... (that's what I would try ^^; )
As far as for using your actual hair... No idea ^_^; Sorry!

Normally I stray away from the hair color spray because every time I've used it the color got onto my neck and clothes. Another alternative is a semi-permanent hair color which will stay in your hair for a couple washes unlike the spray which should wash out in one wash. The only other advice I can offer is if you do decide to your hair use a mousse or gel on wet hair before you start styling (blow drying that is). It makes the hair a little easier to control while styling it. You might also look into some kind of cream to put on your hair if you do flat iron it to protect your hair from burning.
If you plan to wear this costume often I think it would be in your best interest to invest some money in a wig. You'll only have to style it once and from there keep the shape intact. It's a little faster to get on as well. You can find wigs at Amphigory.com and CosWorx.com. However I second Nutrition Facts' suggestion of the Femme Fatale.
