1-1: Sahwit throws his toupee at Phoenix.
1-2: White punches Phoenix.
1-3: Vasquez nearly "erases" Phoenix and Maya.
1-4: von Karma tazes Phoenix and Maya, bro.
1-5: Head hurts, but then drops law books on foot.
2-1: Wellington hits Phoenix with a fire extinguisher.
2-2: Hey, mind looking at this whip?
2-3: Whipcracks all around!
2-4: Mental Trauma
3-1: Phoenix digests metal and glass. Also has a cold.
3-2: Ow, Coffee and Pearl slaps. Maya also whacks him with a sword.
3-3: More Coffee. But worse, Phoenix has to stand Jean Armstrong. And gets punched by Tigre, I finally remembered to put in.
3-4: The one case...
3-5: Phoenix falls into a freezing cold river that was believed to kill a girl. Don't worry, this boiling coffee makes up for it.
4-1: APOLLO PUNCH!
4-2: Is struck by a car, hits his head on a lampost, gets a sprained ankle, and just walks off smiling.
4-3: None.
4-4: None.

Also in 1-5 he drops the law books on his foot. I mean if the toupee counts...
Also 3-2/3/5 have the coffee throws (I think All cases with Godot does?).
Also in 2-4 while he doesn't get any physical trauma he had quite a few of "i'm gonna faint now" instances and it must have been the most taxing case mentally.

And for 4-4: He lost his job for something he didn't do, and got an 8-year old girl thrust on his hands--without a job. That's prolly more psychological trauma than all of his cases combined xD

And no, the writers have made a lot of bad choices in the Apollo Justice game, but killing off Phoenix would be possibly the worst choice for them to make. Besides the trauma it would cause Trucy, Maya and the others in terms of plot, it would also bring down the sales of the games badly. I know plenty of people who like AJ but would stop playing the series entirely if Nick were killed off. Plus what would Phoenix's purpose be in the AJ series then? Get forced into a story he didn't belong in just to kill him off? That'd be just plain cruel.
