Thank you! Glad I'm not the only one that thought that. I was positive it was a mistake, but, it isn't.
The plot isn't looking so good either. If they want it to be a DragonBall film, if you must make the charaters unreconizable, please atleast let the plot stay the same.
I have no hope for this film......it will be a disaster!

I think a lot of Japanese live-action adaptations tend to keep the realistic hair format thing going on. (top of my head examples can be Cutie Honey and a recent Negima one)
And others vary with it, like that what-the-fluck Sailor Moon one in which their hair doesn't change color (no less, very shoddy, stand-outish wigs) unless they are in their transformed state.
